i don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to say something in case someone else is thinking about staying here. We booked this hotel for a quick weekend getaway — nothing fancy, just something clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, this was neither. 😞 First of all, the photos online are VERY misleading. The furniture looked stylish and updated in the pictures, but in real life it was old, scratched up, and honestly felt like it came from a thrift store clearance bin. One of the nightstands was chipped and the drawers didn’t even close all the way. The chair in the corner looked like it had seen better decades. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was thin and lumpy, and every time I moved, it made a squeaky noise. I barely slept the first night. My husband ended up sleeping on top of the comforter with a hoodie on because it just didn’t feel clean. 😬 The room also had this weird smell — not awful, but like stale air and cheap cleaning supplies. We had to open the window just to air it out. We weren’t expecting a 5-star resort, but we did expect something that at least looked like the photos and felt halfway decent. I honestly don’t know how this place has such good reviews unless people are rating it based on price alone.
