We were looking at going for a wine tasting in a not so commercial/not group setting in Carmelo and came across Campotinto on social media. It has been the best choice - they are so accommodating, starting with the reservation process. Our Spanish is pretty dismal and the person on the phone spoke no English but - as everywhere in Uruguay - things worked out great simply due to the friendliness, patience and openmindedness of the people. The experience itself was beautiful. We received a tasting of their wines in a beautiful setting (just us there) and accompanied by what in the US you would call a beautiful charcuterie board. We had ample time to just sit and enjoy for as long as we wanted. The vineyard also has a restaurant and we had booked lunch there as well - beautiful home cooking and I think going there for dinner in that beautiful setting would also be amazing. They also have some rooms which we only looked out from the outside, but they looked modern and beautiful, with ample privacy.

Me hospedei e foi uma experiência maravilhosa. A pousada é ótima. Cama excelente, banho e roupa de cama. Atendimento personalizado. Por ser bem intimista e com poucas acomodações não há muitas opções, mas tudo que tem é sempre muito bem feito. Café da manhã tem o necessário e delicioso.

Estivemos na propriedade várias vezes anteriormente. Sempre uma experiência ótima! Desta vez não gostamos. Fizeram uma reforma : banheiro bom. Não tem televisão. Acrescentaram mais uma cama d casal e tiraram o sofá q tinha no quarto, ou seja as acomodações deixaram a desejar. O restaurante q era o ponto alto, não serve mais nem almoço nem lanches. As meninas Juliana, Fiama, Stefani e a Veronique maravilhosas como sempre, atenciosas e eficientes. Então a pousada em si não é mais a mesma

Visitamos Campo Tinto a fin de Enero de 2022 con una amiga, pasamos increíble. La piscina, la habitación, la propuesta gastronómica excelentes. Cabe destacar la degustación de vinos en la bodega a cargo de Juan José: vinos de primera calidad y sus recomendaciones y guía durante la actividad fueron de lo mejor! Súper recomendable hacer la degustación de vinos si van a Campo Tinto

Llegamos por una degustación de vinos que estuvo muy bueno. Pepe fue nuestro host y es un crack, la verdad me saco el sombrero por él. La cena estuvo exquisita, los platos son muy abundantes (la ensalada César que está como entrada va perfectamente como plato principal) y el servicio es súper. Las habitaciones lamentablemente no son muy privadas. Tienen puertas que conectan con la habitación de al lado y se escucharon claritos los ronquidos del señor vecino como si estuviera durmiendo a mi lado. Pero a pesar de esto, la posada está hermosa, las personas super amables y dispuestas.
