Hotels near UNIQLO in Kyoto

The location of the hotel is excellent because it take 5-10 minites from hotel to Kyoto station. It was very convenient for me if I am traveling to all the scenery nearby Kyoto. Food and beverages is available surrounding the hotel, you can just have a light breakfast and then start to travel to your destination of choices.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tokyo Stay Kyoto Sanjo Karasuma during my visit to Kyoto, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel's prime location in the heart of the city made it incredibly convenient for exploring the various attractions and immersing myself in the local culture. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff at the reception. They provided me with all the necessary information about the hotel facilities and the surrounding area, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The staff members were consistently helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. The room I stayed in was cozy, comfortable, and well-appointed. Despite being compact, it offered ample space for a solo traveler like myself. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities were modern and well-maintained. I particularly appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable.

Clean and comfortable room with daily house keeping, comes with all the toiletries I needed. Conveniently located at 3 minutes walk from the closest subway exit and also close to bus stations for routes to popular sightseeing spots. Self-service check-out machine was easy to use and the process took only half a minute. Suggest to add a clothesline and a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom, and the room would be perfect.

The Prince Hotel was the most satisfying hotel in our trip to Kyoto. The hotel is located beside Lake Bipa with first-class scenery and comfortable environment. In particular, the hotel's dedicated bus pick-up service and the luggage delivery service at the Kyoto Station counter bring great convenience to guests, allowing us to arrange our itinerary as we wish. The hotel's breakfast is also very good. When you enjoy breakfast in the restaurant on the 37th and 38th floors, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Biwa through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows! The only dissatisfaction is that check-in is required at 5 pm. If we arrive after 3 o'clock, if we want to check in in time, we will have to pay an additional 2,000 yen; it seems too inhumane.

The location is superb ! But we had a hard time finding the entrance . there should be more info about the direction . we arrived at 1am and there wasn’t anyone to ask for directions . the room is really tiny and would only be good for a short stay. it is a convenient place as it is on top of the station . i’ve posted the exit of the hotel - kintetsu hachijo guchi

Location was great which was close to Nishiki Market. Staff were very nice and room was new and clean. There was window in the room but couldn’t see outside and couldn’t open. There was no soundproof of the hotel. I heard the locals were speaking in the corridor in the middle of the night and emergency cars went by almost every night. However, overall experience was great.

Use on JR Tokai tour. So I don't know the price of １ nights, but it is used at the price of the shock of 22000 yen from Tokyo to the Shinkansen ２ night. Since Kyoto has the top level in the country, it is probably necessary to win the simple business hotel at the low rate of selection at the price of the inbound zero. It was the first unizo, but the first thing to note is ”clean linen”. Anyway, everything is clean and beautiful. Everything is very comfortable from the entrance as a space with the shallow construction. The room is small with 14 square meters, but it is larger than the APA, and the room with heavy color use is not bad because it is not seen in a light touch room with a thin color like Toyoko inn. It was a pity that the bathtub was small, but it was prepared to the original amenities and bath salts, and this was also a good impression. What was more surprising was the quality of towels, and there were many thin bath towels in business hotels, but it was quite good here. Wifi is comfortable, and various portable charging adapters are also available, and coffee and tea are also provided firmly. The only regret is that the restaurant of １ F is ”Matsuya”, so breakfast becomes Matsuya's regular meal. This is a pity. I didn't want to eat, so I made a plan without it. If this is a quality vegetable center buffet, it is 100 points without complaint. . . I thought. I don't know what price it will be after the corona, but at this time there is no complaint if you stay overnight. I think I will use it again.

The location was very near to the Kyoto JR station, which we only carry our luggage and walk for around 3 minutes around arrive the lobby of hotel. For the ambience, the staff was fair enough to provide assistance to us whenever possible. Besides, the breakfast was also significant part as the food taste was so delicious, and there has some unique food, like Udon, matcha deserts, which can help us to really get into the culture of Kyoto. I will definitely come to this hotel for my next visit.

I stayed with my family for 2 nights for purposes. I chose this one near the station because of the location, but the room is a business hotel type and is by no means large. Is it kept clean? I couldn't deny that the equipment was aging, so I entered the room and there was a spot that was noticeable. Although it is 2 consecutive nights, the card key will not work at 11 o'clock the next day, probably because I booked one night at a time, and an error occurred. I asked the front desk to deal with two stories, but I went to the front desk again without apologizing and went to the front desk again. From the time of check-in, I couldn't feel the service spirit at all at the front desk, and it was clerical. This hotel seems to have nothing to do with that. Because there are usually more people cleaning the room for one night, the aunt uses the entire corridor to spread the used linen in each room, and it is difficult to walk in the corridor. The elevator is also occupied by a linen transport cart around 1100-1300, and it is difficult to get there. It's okay if you just sleep, but it feels a little expensive for that room and service.

Pros : Close to JR Kyoto station, just about 10 mins walk. Hotel looks quite new & very clean Rooms are spacious enough (considering Japan’s standard) Staff are generally friendly and always prompt to offer help. Very extensive breakfast buffet spread, literally one of the best we had before. Definitely worth booking a room package including breakfast. The only downside, the hotel tends to be a little overcrowded and bustling during our stay. It’s great for families but if you are looking for quiet or private getaway, then you may want to consider elsewhere.
