The room has a substantial size, bigger than the usual Japanese hotel, the design is great. The hotel opened in 2022 so everything is new, it has shuttle bus service to and from Kyoto Station 京都駅 every hour which came in quite handy as we spent some time shopping there. You can check the timetable on the hotel’s website. The location is a bit far from the central Kyoto area but there is a lot of enjoyable historic sites surrounding the hotel and the area is quite calm and tranquil. The view from our room looks towards the inner garden of the hotel which is quite nice. There is a mountain at the background as well to add to the natural vibe. Staffs had the usual Japanese mentality, very welcoming and pleasant. There is a subway station near the hotel, about 3-5 minutes walk, but we never got to use it as the convenience of taxi got us every time. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The hotel has complete facilities, is clean and tidy, and has good service. The breakfast buffet is rich and delicious. It is a high-quality hotel. However, the location of the hotel is relatively remote. To access, you need to rely on the hotel's shuttle bus that runs every half an hour or take a taxi at your own expense. More inconvenient.
