Geographic location: Very close to the Sakakyu Line, Kamogawa River, and subway. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Kiyomizu Temple. It is about the same distance from many attractions.
Service: The service is very good. It is the first hotel I have encountered in Japan where English communication is completely barrier-free. There are English-speaking staff and Japanese staff who are very good at English. There are also Chinese staff who can speak Chinese. The boss lady is also very good at Chinese. The recommended sushi restaurants around are also very delicious. The luggage stored is directly delivered to the room.
Hygiene: It feels very well done, and there is no place that feels dirty.
Facilities: There is a microwave and a washing machine in the room, which is very convenient whether you buy your own lunch or wash clothes. (Although there is no drying function, you can hang clothes in the bathroom and use the bathroom heater to dry them)
Anyway, it is highly recommended. It is a very comfortable hotel to stay in.

The location is excellent, buses, taxis and trams are all very convenient, and it’s also very lively at night!

The lady boss had worked in Shanghai before, could speak Chinese, and had a very good service attitude. The location of the hotel is also very good. There is a washing machine in the room, but it does not have a drying function, so you have to turn on the hot air in the bathroom to dry it.
The smallest room in the hotel I stayed in, the window faced the wall, and the overall psychological feeling was quite cramped. The air conditioner was facing the bed, and I couldn't use the air conditioner directly. It was hot when it was not turned on, which was a bit uncomfortable.

Splendid stay at this small hotel! The owners and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Super clean rooms and had all the amenities we needed for our 3-night stay, mini kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, dishes/utensils and most importantly a washing machine and the shower room had drying facilities. Location wise it was perfect, on a side street steps from the Nishiki market. Will stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto.
