I was in Room 201 facing a backyard, during the Fall/Winter time. Location is excellent as it’s walkable distance to Gion, Kiyomizu Dera, and Kawaramachi. Nice to have washer dryer in the room with laundry detergent provided. The room is filled with sunlight during the day which is a bonus.
It’s a pity that dishes and cutlery are not provided even though there’s a microwave.

The hotel is very clean and the room is spacious. In addition to two beds, the hotel also provides two tatami mats and quilts, and a washing and drying machine. The location is good, close to Kiyomizu Temple, there is a supermarket nearby, and it is not too far from shopping places. The price is very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Super satisfied, clean and affordable, convenient transportation, 1.8 km to the train station, 1.4 km to Takashimaya, walking distance to Kiyomizu Temple, Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, but the surrounding restaurants are not very convenient, one kilometer away. I will continue to stay in this B&B when I come to Kyoto in the future!

This is the largest room I stayed in during my trip to Japan. You need to take a taxi to Kiyomizu Temple. I used Uber. There is a small traditional sushi restaurant 1 minute walk away. It is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. There are food nearby, convenience stores, and a small shrine. It is quite good.

I checked in on a Saturday in July and the price was more than double the usual price, so I had no choice but to move to this hotel. After checking in, even at this price, I feel it is a great value for money. Good location, good service, better equipment. I regret not staying more nights.
