Nice and comfortable place to stay, but felt expensive for what it is. I feel like you could find similar places nearby that might include more (room cleaning, additional waters, etc.) for a better price, but this really did make a good place to come back to during our short stay in Kyoto.

We just loved everything! The bed, the look and feel, the supernice breakfast and convenient location but most of all....the wonderfull, wonderfull staff! It was truly a pleasure to stay with you and we would vertaling love to come back.

A perfect welcome! an extra breakfast! very well located hotel: near Gion, yet quiet, right next to the metro and bus lines to reach all the sites to see in Kyoto! A magnificent and very well equipped room. In short, I plan to return to this hotel during my next trip to Kyoto!!! It has all the positive points!!!

It was in a quiet location and I was able to relax. It's easy to access places to eat, and there are plenty of power outlets in the rooms, so staying for multiple nights shouldn't be a problem. However, it was difficult to understand the correspondence between the light on/off switch and the lighting fixtures, so I think it would be less stressful for your first stay if you provided a correspondence chart.
