Hotel Matsutakeun

I came to Kyoto with my family to enjoy the red leaves. The hotel is very good, the price is favorable, the price-performance ratio is very high, and the location is very convenient. I will choose it again next time I come to Kyoto.

The location is great. It’s just one stop away from Kyoto Station and transfer to the subway. The business district is within a 10-minute walk. There are a lot of delicious food around and there are also places to have a drink in the evening. It’s also very pretty! The key is that the room is quite new and very comfortable to stay in. The shampoo works better than the one I brought myself. It is truly a treasure hotel. I plan to use this place as my base when I visit Kyoto in the future, and I will stay here every time, haha.

The location is not bad by Kyoto Station standards, but it was inconvenient for sightseeing by public transportation. The room is spacious compared to the price, but inefficient space arrangement. The cleaning and tidying is at Chinese level. The front desk staff gave up communication because it was a waste of time because they were often away. The performance of the air conditioner is also poor and the noise is so great that you have to endure the level of noise in an airplane cabin to maintain the proper temperature. It can't be called a hotel, it's on the level of an Airbnb. No intention to revisit.
