Amazing hotel! Very clean and cozy! Nice design, good price, super clean bathroom with a bathtub! Friendly stuff. A bit far from subway. I am very pleased. If I go back Kyoto, I will be happy to stay at this hotel again. Thank you!

We booked luxury room, but the staff only provided standard room. Also, location is quite inconvenient and it took at least 15mins to walk from station. We have paid in advance for hotel tax in trip.com, but the staff kept asking the evidence from us which does not show the friendly and welcoming. It is disappointing booking.

During my recent stay at this unique Kyoto hotel, I was impressed by several aspects. The staff, predominantly international, were comfortable communicating in English, which made my stay much more convenient.
While the location is slightly north of central Kyoto, requiring some extra travel time to reach the main tourist areas, I found this to be a blessing in disguise. The hotel's proximity to the serene Kyoto Imperial Palace Gardens (Kyoto Gyoen) offers guests a peaceful retreat from the city's bustle. The quiet neighborhood perfectly captures the traditional atmosphere of Kyoto.
One particularly interesting aspect is the hotel's ninja theme. For enthusiasts of Japanese ninja culture, this adds an exciting and unique dimension to the stay. The themed elements throughout the property create an engaging experience that sets it apart from standard hotels.

We came to Kyoto with my sisters and a friend for a few days.
The hotel is located next to the Imperial Palace. There are several restaurants and shops.
The area is quiet, but you need to take a bus or subway to get to the station, the stops are about 10 minutes walk away.
You can also take a bus to the main attractions, overall it is convenient.
Stylish design
The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the reception gives out pajamas and personal hygiene products (comb, toothbrushes, washcloths)
There is a cafe - a space with tables, a microwave and a coffee maker overlooking the inner garden.
The staff is friendly.
We really liked the hotel, we will definitely consider it for our next trip.
