10/10 and will definitely book with Rinn again! Room size is awesome for our family of 4, comes with 2 beds and 2 futons (perfect for the kids to have their own space). Toilet and shower are separated hence made it convenient and not having to wait to use the bathroom. We made use of the washing machine located on the ground floor which cost 500 Yen including drying. Overall experience was excellent! Highly recommended.

The location is a bit remote, 14 minutes walk from Kyoto Station, but it is very quiet. The convenience stores around are a bit far, but it is very close to Umekoji Park. The bathtub is very small, and adults under 1.7 meters can barely soak in it. The light switch in the room is not designed properly. People who are used to sleeping on the left side have to crawl over the entire bed to turn off the light. Yes, because it is too close to the wall, they can only crawl over it. The bed is soft.

No ice machine is a bad review. Most Japanese hotels have one. Check-in is at 4pm. Transportation is not very convenient. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Kyoto Station (you have to wait for several traffic lights). The price is cheap and the value for money is OK.

It's a bit far from Kyoto Station. There are not many people on the way to check in at night. The room is the same as the picture. What you see is what you get. The front desk is open until 10 pm.
