Love those cook dino hotel attendants at the counter and how staff would still be available to assist with check-in. It was a bummer that bottled water/refill stations were not provided and we had to get our own water. That said, location was awesome with two roads to Kyoto station, and the fuss free automated experiences made up for it. Also a plus point to have 7-11 just round the corner.

Location is good, a 3 min walk from the kyoto station. Got lost in the station again lol — when you exit from Kyoto station look out for the hachijoguchi sign, you should see the hachijoguchi EAST sign as you walk further. Exit from there as it’s the closest to the hotel. The shower water temperature is a little inconsistent, it may suddenly become hotter/colder as you adjust the water pressure but i guess it’s something bearable given the hotel’s location.

superb and worth every penny. very close to kyoto station and other malls, spacious room, good heater function and provides laundry services. very clean as well. you can also store your luggages at front desk for free before/after check out. speedy check in and out too

Great hotel. We love everything about our stay. Location is just 5 minutes from the station. Very clean and spacious. They upgraded our room free of charge. The had all amenities we needed. And on the top of that two dinosaurs at reception were quite funny.

Very convenient to the Kyoto train station and delicious breakfast. Watch out for the dinosaurs at check in!

Room was bigger than expected. We got the Phiten foot massager for 500 yen/night which was easily the best add-on ever, saving us from expensive massage fees outside the hotel. Breakfast is simple but lovely. Very near to the main train station and nice malls in the area.

Hotel situated in a good area which is very close to Kyoto Station that we can catch an early train next morning

Very interesting experience with 2 male dinosaurs who checked you in. Room is decent and larger than we expected. Breakfast is a bit boring after a few days but still delicious. It could feel very empty with no staff around and you even keep your luggage in the lobby with a lock, all self-service.

Very good location; convenient to take buses. Very clean room and facilities. Good pub/restuarant on Ground Floor.

Great location and even though there is no staff at the counter, it's still pretty easy to reach them!
