Aoi Hotel Kyoto

The location is excellent, in Shijo Kawagen-cho, with convenient subway connections, and Zhiyuan is right next to it, just in time for the July Festival. Kiyomizu Temple is across the river and can be seen across the river. On one side of the building is the Kamo River. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom and see huge carps swimming leisurely. In the evening, as the sun sets and the summer heat dissipates, handsome men and beautiful women sit in groups of three or four along the river bank. On the other side of the building, there is another stream flowing along the street, with cherry trees planted along the banks. One can imagine the scene when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in March. The toiletries and bedding in the room are of good quality, and the washing and drying machine is also very convenient. The minibar is free and beer is free to drink, but we don't drink alcohol, so it's a bit of a waste. There is a tatami partition in the suite, with a scroll of Li Bai's poems hanging on the wall, signed by Puyi, which makes people laugh. Puyi's calligraphy is quite good. The oil-paper umbrellas provided by the hotel are great. I took them to Sanqianyuan to take photos, and they were really great. I will come back again if I have the chance, probably during the cherry blossom season next time.
