Great place, clean, services was good, they even had free alcoholic drinks for guests which was a bonus. Will come back again for sure!

Great location, near train station and walking distance to Gion. Hotel provides all the amenities. Also a humidifier available and has daily room cleaning. The only down side is that the room is very small. Otherwise, perfect!

The staff is very unhelpful, unfriendly and lack empathy. I asked for help to dispose 2 medium size luggages that were damaged in the midst of our trip. The staff refused to help. When I asked where can I dispose the luggage. His reply is "not in Kyoto" but did not offer any helpful advice. When I checked online, it says hotel can help dispose at a fee not more than 1000¥. An adjacent hotel staff also told us they will help dispose for hotel guest. When I went back again to seek help, again the staff declined to help. When I told him hotel can help dispose at a fee, he appeared frustrated and impatient with me, and quoted me 10,000¥ as a fee. Totally ridiculous.

Friendly and professional staff providing excellent service. Hotel is in a great location and has very nice atmosphere and amenities. The room was very clean and comfortable and the dining/bar area provides a great place to relax and socialise after a day of sightseeing.

Really nice hotel, only problem I’d say is the rooms are slightly small and the location isn’t ideal for tourism but it’s good for shopping.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood that has traditional architecture, but two blocks over is the main boulevard that can walk for 20 minutes to get to so many museums, parks, and temples. The hotel staff was pleasant and check-in was fast.

The location was very good. The staffs were kind, and the rooms were very clean but too narrow.
