For us it had a top location. Very neat, fresh design. Good breakfasts. Onsen inside! Welcome bar and everything else you can expect from Super hotel. Quite a small rooms though, as always.

Very comfortable and convenient location, near the big food market and Gion district. Room for one was quite good, for two people would be a bit small. Night happy hour for free drinks is also great

The location was great, close to shops, restaurants, night life, blah blah blah. Typical Japanese hotel experience: tiny room, 100% plastic bathroom, pick up your pillow, pjs, amenities in the lobby…
If you want your room cleaned, it is a four-hour process from 11:00am to 3:00pm during which time you cannot use your room and the door to your room remains propped open.
But…free booze from 6:00-8:00pm more than makes up for all of the other inconveniences!

Has everything there is to offer. The breakfast was amazing, I enjoyed freshly baked goods and miso soup the most. The onsen can get quite crowded but it's still manageable. The location is perfect. The room was very clean. Would stay again.

Really great location - less than a minute to Teramachi and Shinkyogoku shopping street which also connects to Nishiki Market. Cut through the small streets to reach the main road and bus stop (google maps showed a very long route). Not too far to walk to Yasaka Shrine or Hanamiko-Ji Dori street but best to bus/taxi to Kiyomizu-dori Temple. But I hesitate to stay there again coz the rooms aren’t pleasant - stains on the carpet, frosted window, cheap decor and bad use of space (sofa at the end had an extra set of bedding taking up precious space, bathroom sink unnecessarily small and poorly positioned).

Hotel location is decently accessible. Short bus or train ride to Kyoto station and easy to get to many attractions. Free breakfast included, but do get down early if there are many people staying there. Free drinks in the evening with a selection of liquors. Public bath was great, but time limited with both genders using one bath on alternate timings. Also abit on the smaller side. Ammenities was great and staff was friendly.
Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Overall a good place to stay.
