Minn Gion Kamogawa Experience: Excellent Location, Value for Money I made the right choice staying at this hotel in Kyoto! The location is impeccable—right next to the flower path, right next to the Kamogawa River, and close to Sanjo. It's incredibly convenient for commuting, visiting attractions, and shopping. You can explore so much of Kyoto on foot—a true dream for those who want to spend their leisure time. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, especially the triple and quad rooms. They're spacious and comfortable for a group. The rooms come with a refrigerator and microwave, making them very convenient for daily use. The washer-dryer on the first floor is also very practical, costing around 500-700 yen and easy to use, making it perfect for short stays. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and worry-free. One minor drawback is that they don't provide cleaning or trash removal within seven days. It's a bit like a self-service B&B. It's comfortable for a one- or two-day stay, but longer stays might require more effort, and extra cleaning will cost extra. But overall, the price is very reasonable, and considering the location, space and convenience, the cost-effectiveness is really high. It is worth considering visiting Kyoto!

First, the room was incredibly spacious. Compared to other rooms in Japan, it was surprisingly large. The living room, in particular, had a large sofa and dining table. Secondly, it had two beds, which could be laid out on two tatami mats, meaning it could sleep four people. I think the sofa could also be used for sleeping. In short, I think a family of four or five could sleep quite comfortably. Secondly, the amenities were comprehensive, including a refrigerator and washing machine with dryer. Making breakfast and a late-night snack in the room was quite convenient. Fourthly, the service was remote, so there was no need to visit the service provider. Simply contacting them online with any needs was quite convenient, I thought. While walking, I discovered this restaurant is actually a pretty big chain. There are several other locations right next to the one I was staying at. Finally, this hotel is incredibly convenient. First, it's only a hundred meters from the subway entrance—literally, a hundred meters. Secondly, it's right by the Kamo River. There's also a pedestrian street with restaurants next to Kamo Village, which is incredibly convenient. You can actually walk to places like the 1st and 2nd Year Editions, but it's a bit far, about 20 minutes.
