Hotel Legasta Kyoto Shirakawa Sanjo

This is an excellent value for money during the cherry blossom season. It should be newly renovated. The room is really big in Japan. It is more than enough for two suitcases to be spread out. It is very convenient to go to Yasaka Shrine, Nanzenji Temple, Kiyomizudera Temple, and Shijo Kawaramachi. It can be reached on foot or within 20 minutes by subway bus. The sanitary napkins are separated from wet and dry, and it is a smart toilet for bathing. Turn on the heater when bathing to make it super warm. The service attitude at the front desk is also very good. However, it is important to note that the front desk is unattended before 6 a.m. and after 10 p.m., and you need to walk 200m to their sister hotel for luggage storage. All in all recommended!

Since the store could not store luggage, he told me that it could be stored at another Shirakawa Sanjo Hotel next to McDonald's. When we walked to the Gion Shirakawa store across the street, he chased us and explained it again, fearing that we would mishear and misunderstand.

Overall it's a nice stay! The wet and dry bathrooms are separated and the space is larger than those in the same price range. Two large luggages in the room can be opened Washing machine + dryer are provided (both charges apply) Personally I don’t think the heating is very warm. Maybe the room is too big🤣

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff were very helpful. The only thing that was disappointing was that there were no pajamas provided, which was a result of not checking this beforehand.

The surrounding area is quiet and good for sleeping, but the cleanliness is poor. There were multiple hairs falling on the bed sheets and in the bathroom, which was a bit unpleasant.
