The terrible check-in service provided by the two front desk staff totally ruined my mood to enjoy in this hotel, despite the man who look like the manager apologized when I checked out. I don’t think I will book this hotel again. We booked two rooms, they managed to give us rooms on the same floor but they mixed up with our keys. The staff at the front desk checked for a few times but still the keys were wrong. When we check out, the receipt was wrong too. We booked a triple room for 3 adults but they only let us have two key cards and didn’t want to provide more even we requested. For those who has young toddler, kindly note there is no bed guard available in twin bed room due to the thick mattress. I was also told that baby cot is only provided for baby between 0-2 and it is “illegal” to be provided for my son who is just 2 and 1m owing to their hotel or whatever policy. I was so disappointed that this five-star hotel couldn’t provide me a way to resolve the issue which I have never experienced in other hotels. Their baby cot is 120x70cm which is the same size as the one in my home. The staff even asked if my son would only “sleep” in it as if he would demolish the cot. At the end I was offered to use the baby cot but they didn’t put it in my room until I asked for it when i returned at night. The hotel could have put more emphasis on details if it is a family-welcoming hotel. We received the welcome pack for kids in the room. Baby stroller was also available at the front desk. Apart from that, kids tableware was nice although not provided at the beginning when we arrived at the restaurant. Anyhow, the hotel has a great location. The food at breakfast was delicious. The hardware in the room was new and clean. The bed and duvet were comfortable. The facilities inside the room can be controlled using an iPad and it was interesting to see a robot delivering room service. The art work at the lobby also caught my sons’ attention to stay.

The hotel management let us down in the last 15 minutes before we left although everything was good before then. We checked out 15 minutes earlier at around 9.45 in the morning and loaded our luggage to our car at the hotel parking space. Just walked away, a man rushed to us and yelled at us without showing his identity: ‘Did you park your car there? You must go now!’ We said that we were the hotel guest and asked who he was. Reluctantly but still not showing his name badge, he said that he was the hotel manager (what a hotel manager!) and insisted we must drive away immediately. Very unset to a hotel guest who was allowed by its staff to park their car the night before to be greeted by a manager like that, right? Going back to the hotel front desk to settle the trouble, the man remained arrogant, did not apologize and just kept saying ‘you CANNOT park the car’ without mentioning why we COULD in fact park our car there overnight. (Why it was permitted by front desk staff? Why was there no sign and no block there? Why no one called to our room and explained if it was a breach of hotel regulation?) When we said as a hotel guest we should still have the right to park the car before checkout time which was 10.00 am, the man seemed not figuring out what our argument was and, most ridiculously, as a hotel manager to greet guests all over the world, he did not know what the words ‘courtesy’ and ‘polite’ mean. Fortunately we just stayed at Chisun Premium Kujo for one night in our 7-day trip in Kyoto. It was a totally different experience when we stayed at 俵屋旅館and Gate Hotel the following days, which was an authentic Kyoto experience to a frequent Kyoto traveller like us. As management in our own company, we reassure that, from Chisun’s experience, training to manager is much more important than to junior staff. Very often it is the management, not frontline staff, who irritates customers and ruins the company’s reputation. We had the man’s business card at last but are not going to show here. Hope the hotel management can train their staff professionally in the future.

If you are just looking for a nice hotel to rest in, this will definitely meet your needs, but the hotel is a certain distance from the attractions. If you want to visit the attractions, you will have to spend a lot of time in transportation. I went alone and the room I was assigned was a bit weird. When you open the window, you can see the building opposite. There are no curtains to see through. Although it is a bit blurry, it is scary... On the contrary, I think it might be better without a window... Summary: There is a very good shared space on the rooftop of the hotel. It is very good to take a rest on the rooftop. The hotel is very beautiful and the room is big enough. The room has no view but has a window to look directly at the building opposite. The room is strange because the location is a bit far away.

During the day, the counter is staffed by Chinese people who are very good at communicating with us on various issues. Their English is pretty good, not to mention Japanese. I think they look more Japanese than others😝 The rooms have basic facilities and are much larger than ordinary hotels. The toilet and bathroom are separated, just like living in an apartment suite in Japan. I will choose their system when I come to Kyoto in the future.

It is a location that can be accessed by subway from Kyoto Station 2 station to Jujo Station in 2 minutes (if time is right, free transfer bus can also be used from Kyoto Station). We were able to stay at a price of about 10000 yen per night at the time of the autumn leaves where the accommodation fee was high. Because the surrounding area is a residential area, I think you can spend quietly. The living space is large while a business hotel, and the facilities are clean because it has not been opened yet. The bath in the public bath was comfortable, and the breakfast was rich and delicious in Kyoto. It was a pity that the emergency bell rang in the time zone of the check-out and there was ”motsuki” in the staff response (perhaps I think it is an emergency bell misoperation).

Very good small apartment, fully equipped, warm and comfortable. The traffic is also very convenient, next to the subway and convenience store. It can be said that you can meet all your imagination of Japanese homestays and will definitely stay again if you have the opportunity.

The layout and decoration of the room are very Japanese, and there are some small decorations unique to Japan. The room area is very spacious, the bedroom lighting design is very delicate, the overall feeling is elegant and pure, the night is very quiet, the sound insulation effect is good, and the sound of the air conditioner is also very good. Small, will not affect sleep, I have already recommended it to friends who plan to travel to Japan

When I booked this hotel, I didn't have a single comment. I was very nervous at the time, and I had a try mentality. Unexpectedly, the room did not disappoint me after coming to the hotel. The space is much larger than that in Osaka, and the bathroom is separated from the shower room and toilet and washing machine. There are also tableware for cooking, tableware and induction cooker. There is also a small balcony. There are free washing machines and coffee and beverages on the first floor, and everything is available for life. To say the disadvantage is that the surrounding area is relatively quiet and residential, but there are buses directly to Kiyomizu Temple and other attractions, which is still very convenient. 【Hotel Guide】 📍Detailed address: 🚗Traffic strategy: 207 🌟Highlights and features: you can kitchen and wash clothes 💰Per capita consumption: 450 📌Little Tips: 📍Detailed address: Framboise KYOTO Hotel de charme
