Breezes Beach Club and Spa

My wife and I had a wonderfull 7 night sray after being on safari. It was the perfect chill out experience. No TV in the room, very peaceful in the restaurant, pool and bar area with low key and quiet music. The food and service were ecxellent. I have taken one star off the room rating as the balconies are not private. The divider does not extend to the front of the balcont which means neighbours have access to your section (see picture)

A wonderful hotel for a relaxing stay. We had been on a hectic safari holiday in Kenya and arrived in need of R & R. Lovely room near to the beach and facilities. Staff were really good and helpful. Themed food nights from local spicy favourites to bbq and a la carte. Huge beach and massive tides which meant swimming only possible in the hour before & after high tide. But lovely pool available surrounded by flowers and busy weaver birds.

A wonderful stay at Breezes Beach Club & Spa We arrived late Sunday night and found our happy place in Zanzibar. A very comfortable bed (with netting set up on a frame in a way that it doesn’t touch you, keeping you bug bite free), nice size room and lovely en-suite bathroom. The space was well kitted out. We did not have any issues with bugs in the room. Do bring bug spray for evenings, especially when the breeze is low. We arrived with out luggage-a different story-and found the staff very helpful. Melissa was great in opening the gift shop (check it out) for us to purchase swimsuits and flip flops to start enjoying our stay. We walked out to the beach, found lovely chairs and good beverage service and we let all the stress go. The staff here is amazing, wonderful, kind and very friendly. From our room housekeeper, to restaurant servers, to bar service, to yoga and spa center, to the reception staff and to the scuba diving center- they are all top notch- hospitality is their middle name. We choose Breezes as our hotel because of the dive center on property. Kiri, the manager, answered all our pre-trip questions in a very timely manner. When we arrived without our gear, she set us up with top notch gear- mask, wet suit, fins, etc- and even sunscreen. She and her team took great care of us and they are great. I want to talk about the food! Yum! We are not here to eat same old, same old food. We were so happy to experience 2 evening buffet meals in which we experienced new flavor combinations. The first night was their “Spice” dinner. More of an Indian influence. The spices of the island were used to make salads, main courses and desserts. The second buffet night was their “Swahili” dinner where they used coconut oil, milk, and meat to make this special event. Both evenings we tried a little of everything, taking a little more of certain dishes after we asked staff what their favorites were. Their recommendations did not disappoint. They offer such a variety of salads, breads, entrees and desserts. Loved the coconut sorbet and the Spice ice cream- I know, sounds different but give it a go. Delicious. The non buffet evening menu had lots of variety- Each evening there was different dinnertime musical entertainment. Breakfast was an expanse of fresh fruits and lovely breads, including a pancake and waffle station as well as an omelet station. Their coffee is really good- but I like to switch it up and had a fantastic cappuccino- wonderfully balanced. Lunch is served in a different location beachside. The menu covers a lot of ground so you’ll find something there. Did I mention the staff is great? They are! I would mention each by name, but the list would be super long, and really, they ALL are fantastic. Went to the yoga and meditation center for a Yin yoga class. Prema is a great instructor with a wonderful soothing voice. If you haven’t taken a yoga class before I believe this would be a wonderful time to experiment. The hotel grounds and

Breeezes Beach Club&Spa is like nothing else. A unique place in my heart a unique place on Earth. Luxury laid back international guests-mix and winds top class service in a coctail of local design genuine culture athmosphere. the never ending white coral beach the Sea incl the tide -comes and goes timeless and eternal and magic, the beautiful buildings just "in" the green green flowers the sizzling in the Palmtreas like music and poetry . A priceless experience. As a guest you just feel "off relaxed far away from the world". Top class service -always with a smile, professional with personal attention. Not to forget the food and drink area -as it is a big important part of the experience and the stay here. everything so delicate and special for all taste. Everything with a local swahili touch, fresch baked bread, tropical fruits ... I have had the great pleasure to be a guest here, a few times... and every time I return-solo or with family/friends -I feel coming "home" to Paradise. You really feel you are on Zanzibar, but embrassed of the world.

Wonderful staff, attentive, knowledgeable, kind and keen to make sure your needs were catered for. Good variety of food, lovely bar with selection of drinks. Beautiful setting, although a bit of a journey from airport. Nice shop on site. Hotel has guards around grounds but they are discreet

I had occasion to visit Breezes Beach Club during a business trip. I stayed there forbine night but I could feel all the aspect of this property starting from the warm welcome of Luca and Pema, tonthe quality of service for the pool restaurant and the main restaurant and of course the quality of food (everybody around the world knows how italian' are exigent). All the staff is really polite and carefully for the clients. The accommodation are huge and magically inside a beautiful garden. I would suggest a nice stay there for who wants to spend a memorable experience. Thanks everybody and see you guys!!!. Alessandro
