The Nest Boutique Resort

The one positive thing is the property is nice. The service was lacking and value was definitely not worth it. We booked the house in the trees. The rooftop balcony was private for our room but people would wander up there continuously. There was a festival at the hotel when we stayed. We thought that was neat but in the night people woke us up going to the rooftop balcony again. We were also charged different prices at the same bar when we would order the same drinks. When we checked out the reception also charged me more than what was due. When I questioned it she said she thought the taxi was $45 not $35 that we had arranged. Although, even if it was $45 there was still a $5 discrepancy. That felt sketchy to me to have the fluctuating prices. A security guard from the festival also tried to charge us « interest » for going from our room to the bar too many times. The outdoor bathroom although we thought was beautiful had monkies visit (no fault of the hotel) but left monkey poop everywhere making showering etc less than desirable. There were also kids running all over the place saying their mom was the manager and how they get everything for free. I found that tacky and distasteful when you have guests paying a lot to be there. All in all I would not recommend or return.

The Nest is amazing! Jaqline, our server, is the friendliest and one of the best here! Glad I chose to stay at the Nest during my visit to Zanzibar! The beach is unbelievably beautiful and the hotel pool with swing is a must visit spot in Zanzibar!

The hotel is amazing and the views to the sea are mind blowing. Also, the staff was really nice, specially Senzo that was helping us all the time! Such a wonderful waiter! We will be back in this hitel really soon! Can’t wait to come back to The Nest!

Service was excellent (Jamir and Leonard were amazing, so nice and friendly, they took their time for us). Food was absolutely delicious, we are not vegetarians but even we didn't notice the difference! Pool is clean and eco friendly, surrounded by nature. We will definitely recommend this place!

Food and service from Jaqualine was amazing. And what a view! On the beachfront of paje zanzibarz We enjoyed fresh made vegetarian pizza’s and cocktails. There was a monkey who stole the last bit of pizza, but that’s part of this place in the middle of nature.

Jackson provided na amazing service to us! Good food, view and vibe! You can visit the resort and be surprised with every single corner, everyone is so nice and warmfull! The Page beach offers a lot of activities that you can do during the day, including kite surf 🏄🏿‍♂️ There are boats to do safaris by the sea!
