The onsen baths are, without a doubt, the crown jewel of the resort. In the Main Building, the basement offers an extraordinary variety of baths, from the enchanting Cave Bath to the rustic Log Bath, carved from a thousand-year-old tree. The Bubble Bath delivers a gentle, soothing soak, but the Massage Bath steals the show. If You Are the One is in the same room 407. You can note the room number after making a reservation. When you arrive at the hotel, you will be introduced to the room in the movie. The hot spring in the room has 24-hour hot water, and all drinks are free. Drinks at the bar are free in the evening, but some sakes are paid, such as Hibiki, Yamazaki, etc. The price is moderate, such as Hibiki vintage wine, which costs 2,200 yen per cup. Be sure to experience the Lake Akan Forest Lighting Tour. It feels like an Avatar in the forest! Tickets are sold at the hotel front desk. The food can only be said to be average. There are deer in the woods on the roadside near the hotel

The hotel was great! The onsen was really just a public bath, but was still comfy. Free snacks on the top floor like ice cream, yakult at different timings made it even better. There was even free ramen supper on the ground floor at night. Room was comfy. Location is great, with the airport bus stop just around the corner, and other bus stops to bring us around.

Must stay hotel! Clean and view are fascinating. The hotel person is kind and helpful. We managed to get a great view in our room on our anniversary. Facilities are amazing, onsen is wonderful. If I can give 10 stars I will give ten stars 😂🥹❤️

The hotel is in a great location, and the sea view rooms have a view of the sea. The rooftop cafe has a great view of the sunset. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the Nusamai Bridge and the harbor. It is about a 10-minute walk, and there are several restaurants nearby to choose from, making it convenient to find food. The airport bus stops at the city hall, and it takes about 7-8 minutes to walk to the hotel.

Great hotel but very little English spoken by the staff. Location is convenient for fast food and Fisherman’s Wharf and farmers market. A word of advice. Choose a larger room. I was there for several days and appreciated the extra room. I saw some of their standard room and they sure looked a bit small. Kuchiro is a compact city and easy to walk around on foot. This is a nice hotel. Restaurant is good, but breakfast buffet has very small potions to take. They are also very strict on their closing time. They expect you out when the restaurant is set to close. All in all I think the best choice in Kuchiro.

Nice location with free parking. Facing the lake and next to the Lake Akan Sighseeing Cruise. Close proximity to shopping street for wood craft and souvenirs. Great dinner but breakfast so so. A bit noisy at the eatinv place as many guests are sit in a hall for dimner.

In order to take a red-crowned crane from Tokyo Feiyu Road. The hotel is right by the bridge (pictured, mirrored). I have to say that the surrounding area is really unsightly and quiet in winter. The room is big, the bathroom is huge, quiet, and sleepy. Recommend the seafood directly opposite the hotel, 1,500 yen per person, can eat emperor crab. Winter is the highest! At five o'clock in the morning, I set off to shoot the crane. The front desk intimately gave two big bags to warm the baby. Although I also prepared it, I was still warmed.

Shin-Akan is obviously an old hotel. The buffet is OK. The highlight is that there is a large public outdoor swimming pool upstairs. It is mixed for men and women. You need swimsuits. The hotel has prepared them. You can wear theirs. There are swimsuits in the bathroom, or you can wear your own. The open-air hot spring is quite good. You basically take a bath in the hotel's hot spring. The bathroom is very small. In winter, Lake Akan is completely frozen. Maybe because of the weather, you can hardly see any scenery. It is more fun to play snowmobiles and snow sleds. The hotel has a very big problem, because there is a self-service grill for dinner, and many people will grill meat. The restaurant is completely open on the first floor, making the whole building full of the smell of barbecue, which is very bad.
