Great location and service. Decoration is slightly dated, but value for money and very comfy. Right at the edge of Lake Akan, giving you a great view of the entire lake.

Great location right next to Akan lake. The hotel is quite a historic place, staff are helpful. Restaurants are very few around the hotel. A quiet place for meditation.

Well located in the town centre and just in front of lake. The boat dock is downstair and visible from your room. Opposite the hotel there are two convenient stores and several restaurants within easy walking distance. Car park is free. You will have a high chance to see dears near public car parking area, especially in the morning when less people get in and out. Breakfast was okay without any surprise.

Nice location with free parking. Facing the lake and next to the Lake Akan Sighseeing Cruise. Close proximity to shopping street for wood craft and souvenirs. Great dinner but breakfast so so. A bit noisy at the eatinv place as many guests are sit in a hall for dimner.

The hotel is beside Lake Akan. We reached there at night and had to park at the beach behind the hotel which was quite dark. I've booked a Japanese-style room. Although it's a bit run-down, the room is spacious and clean. The onsen amenities are a bit limited compared to other hotels that I've stayed in. The breakfast spread is ok. Upon checking out, I was quite surprised to be given a bag of bread as a snack.

The location is pretty good, about 10-15 minutes' walk from the station (not easy to navigate with big luggage). There are movies, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
The back door of the lobby leads to Lake Akan, which is very close to the boat ride. It is also very convenient to walk along the lake.
I ordered the cheapest set meal for dinner. I thought I didn’t need to order it because there are many delicious restaurants outside.
The large bath is in the basement and feels a bit older, but the hot spring is pretty good.
The air conditioner in the room seems to be unable to be adjusted, and it will be too dry at night and wake me up.
It is recommended to book a room with a lake view (there are no lake view rooms on the trip). It is worth sitting quietly by the window making tea and watching the scenery (but it gets dark around 4pm in autumn and winter).

The room was nice facing Lake Akan and the dinner was good. The only downside was the breakfast but everyone got a fresh pineapple bun at checkout which was a nice touch.

I stayed in a Japanese-style room, but it faced the road and had no view. But the back door of the hotel leads directly to Lake Akan, which is very convenient. There is also a small forest trail next to it, which is very atmospheric at night, and you can see deer grazing during the day. Breakfast and dinner were both rich and amazing. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to Ainu Village, not too far.

Environment: The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the bus station. The back door is the Akan Lake Cruise Terminal. You can also walk along the lakeside trail along the terminal. It is not too far from the Four Sisters Tavern, and it is very convenient to walk there. The Kushiro Shiretoko number booked online can be picked up directly at the hotel entrance.
Service: The service staff is very enthusiastic. I arrived at the hotel at noon and stored my luggage first, then went out to play and came back to check in at night. It was very convenient.
The breakfast buffet bread and simple side dishes are not bad. We were given bread when we checked out. Dinner is a set meal, which tastes very good and is too exquisite. The price-performance ratio is not particularly high. You can also go to the restaurant near the hotel to eat ramen or buy food at Family Mart not far away.
