The hot water that the Shogun's hot water pumped up had a high ceiling and the warmth of the wood was very tasteful. The smell of sulfur, the amount of hot water, the slightly white and muddy color ... The quality of Kusatsu Onsen is really good. Flowers and artworks are displayed in the hallways in the hall, making you feel rich. The accommodation fee is a reasonably high inn, but I thought I was spending enough money properly. The employees were always greeted when they saw it, and it was very pleasant. I wanted to drink beer after taking a bath, so I searched for a lounge where I could drink light draft beer, but I didn't. However, there is a cafe with an inn right next door, and you can drink local beer (unfortunately you can't drink draft beer). Because the car is normal tires (because I was worried about snowfall), this time I left my car at the parking lot at the Kusatsuguchi exit of JR Naganohara and went to Kusatsu Onsen by bus. I don't think it's very publicized (I told you to park the car at the Naganohara Kusatsuguchi at the time of booking the inn, but there is no explanation from the inn), but Naganohara Kusatsuguchi ~ Kusatsu Onsen round-trip bus is Park & Ride discount will be 30 % draw (parking ticket required). Since it is downhill from Kusatsu Bus Terminal to the inn (about 5 minutes), it will be a good walk while looking at the hot spring town. I think it is better to use the transfer bus of the inn because it will be climbing on the return.

This is the hotel taking 5 star from my own scoring so far in Japan. 1) Central location with free car park 2) Amazing Food with Kaiseki type traditional service(Dinner and breakfast). All the ingredients and the way that they prepare in nice atmosphere is amazing. I think it was the best food experience for me so far in Japan. 3) Indoor and open air onsen which is so clean. 4) Service quality and hospitality is top class. We wanted to give a surprise gift to our cousin. We asked their restaurant management to prepare a special closed ceramic bowl etc. They perfectly prepared more than our expectation. Moreover, they also gave their own small gift to our cousin. 5) Building also in traditional shape and well maintained. 6) Our room was traditional tatami style and it was big enough with bath tube and toilet. 7) First floor is the biggest souvenir shop in central kusatsu area.

We stayed in one of the rooms with a private onsen. It was a large room with two beds on the floor and a dining area. There was also a tiny makeup area/table on the side that I truly appreciated. The in-room onsen was large and comfortable. It had a large window that opens which brings in the refreshing cool air. The Skintheque toiletries were luxurious and perfect. The large shower was also a plus for us. Food was unbelievable. I was able to try new tastes and flavours I won't soon forget. The breakfast chicken with tomato and onion was a surprise. Dinner's abalone was also a revelation. My DH is a tall and large man. We truly appreciated the length of the bed, the size of the shower and onsen. The only problem is that the hotel staff is not very well-versed in English, though they do try their best.

I booked a twin room, but since the accommodation confirmation email said that smoking was possible, I asked for a change of room and changed it to a Japanese-style room. If you want to quit smoking, we recommend avoiding twins as all rooms can smoke. In fact, the smoking room smelled very strong, but the front desk was very good and I was relieved. The facilities are old but there was no problem. Is the sound of flushing the toilet noisy? It's quite comfortable. The bath is Mandai no Yu, which feels gentler than Yubatake no Yu, but Kusatsu no Yu has the power to make your body burn and sleep hard, it's a stone's throw! Both the indoor and open-air baths are quite large and comfortable. The food is the best! This cospa is wonderful for 10,000 yen! !! Moreover, it seems to be a service, but even though it was a basic plan, it had crabs! I dared to avoid crab because it was difficult, but it was still delicious! Thank you! , Is it hard because it is mainly made from Gunma prefecture and has 200g of pork? I didn't expect it, but I was very satisfied with the soft and very good meat at all! Breakfast is also on-parade from Gunma, especially the natto is wonderful and delicious, and it costs 3700 yen for 9 pieces, but I bought it as a souvenir. But considering this price, it's ok at all, and there is a transfer to the daitokan of Yubata, and it is a really wonderful inn with a lot of manga. Absolutely recommended! !! I also want to stay for a long time

It was a revisit to Kyoritsu Resort the following month after being disappointed at La Vista Hakodate, so I wasn't expecting much, but this one was pretty good. When I parked my car in the parking lot, a young staff member came up to me to carry my luggage. The rooms are easy to use with hot spring open-air baths, and since it is built on a hill, the scenery is not bad even though it is a residential area. In addition, the hot springs are different in room baths, large public baths, and private baths, so I was able to enjoy various things. Also, Russian food for dinner? Full course / breakfast of this was buffet, but was delicious. Although it is far from Kusatsu's hot spring town, there is a shuttle bus so I didn't feel any inconvenience. If I have a chance to visit Kusatsu again, I would like to stay again.

It was 20 minutes before the check-in time, but the attendant in front of the gate greeted me with a smile, took my luggage and guided me to the front desk, and the receptionist also smiled and proceeded immediately. Other staff were comfortable inn to greet you with a smile. I enjoyed a color 々 bath, and the snow view bath from the open air of the muddy hot water was the best. The room is compact and old, but it is satisfied with the hospitality and service of the smile. The rice was also delicious, such as the fried tenkara and the soup cut soup that Itamae made in front of me.

GGuest User 2022.02.01
I stayed with my family twice in January 2022, after the New Year and in late January. Both rooms were on the 7th floor. The first time was a corner room, and if you looked down from the veranda, you could see the flow of the Shima River. The second time was not a corner room, but a family of three could relax in a Japanese-style room of 10 and a half tatami mats. Both arrived earlier than the check-in time, but the check-in was smooth, and the explanation from the front desk staff was polite, and it was easy to understand with memos such as meal time and bath time. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the open-air bath early. The open-air bath had shampoo conditioner, body soap, and soap. A razor, aftershave lotion, hair tonic, hair liquid, comb, cotton swabs, and tissues are provided at the open-air bath washbasin. It seems that there was also a cleansing for women. There was a place where you can drink the hot springs on the first floor. A paper cup is provided. Two elevators. One was the observation elevator. There were heaters and rubbing alcohol throughout the ryokan. Wifi was available everywhere in the room and inside the hotel, so I didn't have any problems during my stay. It was fast enough. By the way, the price of juice etc. in the vending machine in the inn was the same as the price outside. I was impressed that there was also a vending machine for cup noodles. Tea and sweets were placed in the room, and there was hot water in the electric kettle and cold water in the refrigerator. The tea was Japanese tea and hojicha, and there were many teapot packs. For dinner, we had a meal in a large hall, but each table was far away, and we were given a bag to put away the mask during the meal. You can enjoy your meal slowly. I was satisfied with the quantity and taste. The catering staff was moving very quickly and it felt good. After dinner, there was a picture-story show by the proprietress. It was about 15 minutes, but seeing the proprietress's heartfelt picture-story show made me feel very nostalgic. There was also an explanation of Shima Onsen. When my son saw the picture-story show for the first time, he became a fan of the proprietress. The second time, after the picture-story show, my son was very happy to have a two-shot with the proprietress. When you return to your room after dinner, the futons are spread out and you can sleep right away. My bed is always my home, so the futon in the Japanese-style room is somewhat fresh. The open-air bath was open to men and women at different times, but it was spacious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even after 5:00 in the morning, I went to the open-air bath in the dark and woke up perfectly. Breakfast was also very good. Check-out is at 11:00, so buy souvenirs at the shop before that. If you pay by credit card, it will be smoother if you ask them to charge the room before checking out. When I left the entrance, the staff took out my shoes, everyone greeted me in a loud voice, and I was able to leave comfortably. On the way back, when I took a family photo in front of the entrance, the staff came immediately and took it for me. Shima Onsen wasn't a big tourist spot, but it was a very good place to go to the hot springs with your family.

GGuest UserIt was the smallest room, but it seemed to have been renewed, and the wallpaper and so on smelled good in the tatami table. The meal was colored 々 and enjoyed. The tea bowl steaming of foie gras was fat and it was impossible for the elderly, but I had a lot of ground things such as salmon and cow in Joshu. I was happy to see me left-handed and to take care of me to replace the direction of the cheek at breakfast. The table interval was wide, and I could enjoy the meal quietly without worrying about each other. Yubata and bus terminal are close, but it is a calm inn in a quiet place.

GGuest UserThis was my first and only stay at a ryokan so I don’t have much to compare it to. I chose this lodging because of the cats and good reviews on the food. The cats were really sweet and I enjoyed playing with them. I have 2 cats of my own so it was really nice. The food was so beautiful and delicious - the mushroom soup at dinner was amazing. I really enjoyed it. The private bath rooms were very convenient and open 24 hrs. I thought the facilities were clean and very pleasant. The location was very close to the central area and a quick walk to all the important sites including the bus station. The only comment I have was in the morning someone was smoking and the smell got ****** into the 2nd floor hallway so maybe more care should be taken to be sure the smoke stays outside. The host was so nice and sweet and I used google translate to ask questions. The matcha madeleines are so tasty I bought a box to take with me.

HhiyonnI visited 12/30. I stayed in a chick bean room. ● Good points • There are 4 private hot springs (flowing directly from Yubata source), and they are not full at any time and I put them in when I like. • Welcome sweets were very delicious. • Self-service seasonal flavor water was fashionable and tasted good. Especially the red jiso drink was delicious. • Breakfast is beautiful, cute and delicious. The rice balls and miso soup were refilled. • The staff who greeted me brightly and politely when I saw off was good. • The location is a little sloped, but it is very close to Yubatake, so it is convenient for sightseeing. • I thought that the concept of the inn was only young people, but that wasn't the case. • Corona measures were also solid. I could choose the breakfast time in detail and eat it in a state like a private room. Except for seeing two groups at check-in, I never passed by other people in the hall. ● Bad points • I was a little worried about the smell of the room. • The scenery is not visible in the location. (Is it depending on the room? ??) I thought that I was doing my best with a small but warm and ingenious hospitality. The concept is also clear ◎. I think it is a good inn that remains firmly in the impression!

GGuest UserWhat I liked was that there was a nice seating areas inside for guests waiting for three out-door private baths and you can see which of these are available while waiting inside. It was very kind of them to do it. They have a beautiful Japanese style garden, and drinking free coffee and tea at the garden seating after the long hot spring (onsen) was the heavenly retreat. They even had free yogurt drink and ice cream at the bath area. Of course with water dispenser. We eat meals at the eating areas, but each group has a private room. Staff are also friendly to children. Only shortfall was that one of the outdoor baths in a public one was out of order, and water in a private bath was not hot enough, so felt like we catch a cold.

MMayMayMay7Kazu Hot Spring is one of the three major medicinal springs in Japan, and the first of the 100 largest hot springs in Japan. But the price of each hot spring hotel in Kazu, the only one is the reasonable price of Yuyuan Hall. The Tangyuan Hall is right next to the soup dumplings. Every day, you must see the soup dumplings for breakfast in the restaurant, but the view of each room is not special, just look at the pedestrian walkway. They have a bathroom in each room and the bathroom is to the big bath under the ground. To be honest, maybe I just went to Matsuyama Hot Spring, there is a slight smell of medicine, but the hot spring water in Caojin has no taste, nor is it a collapse feeling, so I feel like soaking hot water. Because Tangyuan Hall has only breakfast options in booking.com, I couldn't try their dinner, but their breakfast was mainly bean-based and very healthy.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 4nights and enjoyed the convenience of this place. We had a rented car and parking was easy. Room was spacious and heating was very good especially in winter nights. The owners gave us free breakfast on a Sunday and it was very nice gesture. The staff and owner tried their very best to make us feel comfortable, and they are the only ones in Kusatsu that speak a little bit of English to us. All in all, this place was very convenient and fairly accessible. Thanks for having us, will surely return.

11025yankanaStayed on New Year's Day. Compared to the inn around, it was a reasonable price (because there was no meal). The whole facility is very beautiful, such as the room and facilities. I stayed in a room with a mini kitchen, but the room is also large. It was helpful to have an outlet on the side of the bed. The room was not worried about the cold because of floor heating, but the smoking room was quite cold and the door was badly tightened. Although it is strictly prohibited, as described in the other, the sand and the like were rolling when carrying the carry case, etc., so I thought that the slipper was standard and the facility side was better prepared I didn't know if the humidifier was small and effective for the size of the room. Hot springs are small, but if you don't ask for quality in the hot springs in the inn or so far, it is acceptable. As a matter of concern, it was very cold near the washroom because it was opening the window near the washroom. The free drink service at the rest place was a happy concern. The staff politely taught me the recommended shop for eating out, and it was very helpful. A breakfast with a cherry blossom. It was a style that only took two kinds of bread, winner, scrambled eggs, broccoli rattuiyu, corn soup and cereal. Because the stay is a basic inn, it is a little sorry, but I think it is just good for those who can eat a little. Access It is just from Yubata. It is difficult to understand because it passes through the back alley, but it is only the first. Overall, the facilities are new and beautiful, so I recommend it.

GGuest UserPerhaps the biggest flaw: they don’t have non-smoking rooms. Aged hotel, great location, abismal architecture, ugliest building around the Yubatake, nice service, parking out of the town centre, but with a shuttle taking you back and forth any time of the day. The hotel onsen is ok, but not big enough to deal with peak times. Breakfast is fabulous. A true banquet. And service is so good that they’ll even bring you a nama tamago if you ask them. If you don’t want to pay for a traditional-looking bath house building, you’ll find nothing more convenient than this hotel. And if you have a problem with any ashtray smell of your rooms, they will desodorise it in a process that takes 1 hour. Perhaps not a bad idea to ask them to do this before your expected arrival time.

GGuest UserI stayed overnight with my family. Arrived by car and the parking lot was far away, so I gave the key and parked it. Check-in is fast. I booked a Japanese-style room with 10 tatami mats or 12 tatami mats, but it was very large with 4 rooms (main Japanese-style room, Western-style room with 2 beds, sub-Japanese-style room, 2 TV and table). The inside of the building felt a little old, but it is about the same as other hotels. The room is clean enough. There is also a yukata and a hanten, so there is no problem with warmth. I entered the hot spring three times, but there was an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and it was comfortable with ample size. The dinner was a kaiseki at the restaurant, and the amount was too much to eat, so it was delicious. It was a sukiyaki plan for Joshu Wagyu beef, but the children also praised it. There is a Japanese and Western buffet in the morning, and you can eat all-you-can-eat hot springs *. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk to Yubatake. It was a stay that bought souvenirs at the shop on the first floor.

XXIANGA very old hot spring hotel is also the cheapest one in the area. At this price, it was in line with expectations. It arrived a half hour earlier, and it also smoothly let CI. Just like a small Japanese-style hostel, the clerks do not speak English, and they communicate with me in Japanese with no more than 10 sentences. The room is older, but there is everything there, and the bathrobes are beautiful. The hot springs are all public, there is no private soup, and the toilets are also public. There is a squat pit and a toilet. The toilets have to line up that morning. The sense of form at dinner is still in line with the routine of Japanese hot spring hotels. The dishes are ok, and the breakfast is a bit disappointing. It is all carbon water, and the hot spring eggs are not. The geographical location is an extra point. This town has many mountain roads. His home is a 1-minute walk from the bus station, and it will not be very tired to go up and down, let alone ask the hotel to drive to pick it up. According to these circumstances, it is okay to give 4 points, but I don't recommend everyone to live, because this house has hidden charges, and in winter it will charge 500 warm house fee and 150 hot spring water tax. There is no mention on the booking page. If the hot spring tax is not unfamiliar to people who frequent Japan, what is called the warm house fee is very strange. Communicate with the store. They showed me their official website, which means that there is a statement. I said that I didn't set it on the official website. I have no way of knowing it. I prefer to believe that the owner ’s idea is pure and not intentional, but doing business is very frustrating. No wonder it takes up such a good position and does not renovate. Similar hotels that have been renovated next door can sell twice as much. Of course, the result of the matter itself is still good. This hidden charge problem was later subsidized to me by Ctrip. I praised Ctrip customer service and dealt with it in a particularly efficient and professional manner. The reasons for not recommending are: 1. Difficulty in communication. I went to the next few places and visited. Although the English is not fluent, it is obviously much better. There are local characteristics (I changed to the hotel the next day); 3. In addition to the so-called warm house fee, his family's original price advantage of only three or fifty rmb will no longer exist, and you can choose the same price slightly more expensive, Choose the few hotels, the single room price is also in this grade, but the conditions are much better, anyway, this one also experiences impenetrable Japanese feeling, if you really want to experience Japanese feeling, you can choose a hotel above 1500rmb.
