Loved this traditional ryokan in kusatsu right next to the hot spring in the city center. They have a private onsen to use for free upon availability which we enjoyed a lot.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast with view to the spring is definitely a highlight.

The temperature in early May was just right. This hotel has local characteristics and an excellent location. It is right next to the hot spring. The night view outside the window is dreamy. It is worth recommending.
