very good location next to Yubatake, all facilities are excellent and enjoy staying here. Tasty food for both dinner and breakfast.

Hotel Ichii is right in the heart of Kusatsu, so that is awesome. The onsen facilities are very clean and organized. However, our room was disappointing - perhaps because we are used to western style rooms. Our Japanese style room in the annex had no storage - other than the wardrobe where the yukata are stored and you could hang a couple of coats, there was nothing. Since the table in the center of the room was moved each morning and night by the staff to lay out the futons, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving a lot on the table. The futons were clearly old and the comforter on top was stained. There were only the towels meant to be used in the onsen - there were only very thin paper towels for the sink, which seemed very wasteful. Our rooms were located in the annex and while we could get hot water for the in room bath, there water in the sink was barely tepid. The smoking room on the second floor by the passage to the main building made the whole area smell. So if we hadn’t paid up front, we would have left early.

The location is excellent, the signature of the place "湯畑" is right next to the hotel.
The food was v good, the staff are nice and helpful.
The only thing needs to improve is the stone of the hot spring is a bit rough...

One of the best location facing Yubatake. The food and service details are above average. Hot spring is excellent and relaxing. Love this hotel and will rebook it again.

The hotel is located near the core scenic area of the town, about 400 meters away from the bus terminal. There is a large specialty supermarket on the first floor. I stayed for two days and the breakfast and dinner were not repeated every day. The taste was good. The hotel has three indoor hot springs and one outdoor hot spring

The room is clean and on the side of the Yubatake, with a beautiful night view. The food and hot springs are of good quality. The only regret is that the evening banquet is unexpectedly slow to serve, or the rhythm is stuck. We almost have to wait for a while after we finish eating and raise our hands to call for the next dish. It seems that we have to wait for the suit staff (foreman?) to make a decision before serving the dishes😅
In short, it is still a relatively pleasant stay experience.
