I stayed in this hotel several times before the epidemic. It is more than ten minutes' drive from Kyoto Station and a small square from JR Kusatsu Station. For people who are tired from a day's travel, it is more convenient than hotels in Kyoto with inconvenient transportation. I chose this hotel again for my first trip to Kansai after the epidemic. I bought a Kansai Wide Area Tour Pass and it is not a problem to stay here and go anywhere. Although the facilities are not modern, the room area is large enough, and the service and catering of the old-fashioned hotel give people a good feeling.

It was nice to have a convenience store on the first floor and the front desk was very helpful.

The admission was free for elementary school students, so I thought it would be cramped for four people on two semi-double beds, but it was no problem. I went by car, and parking was only 500 yen, which was good. I'd like to use it again when I go to Shiga Prefecture.
