I have a chronic illness and made a reservation for a non-smoking room, but the room I was shown to was a smoking room on the 6th floor with an ashtray. When I went to ask the front desk, they told me that a smoking room had been reserved through Jalan, so it was difficult to change rooms. They said that non-smoking reservations have priority, so they couldn't change rooms. The 4th and 6th floors are smoking rooms with cigarette marks, so I asked for a room on a floor other than those, but the foreign staff wouldn't budge and said reservations had priority... I managed to get a room on a floor that avoided smoking rooms, but then they didn't have enough futons, and it took 4 hours to cry and keep saying they didn't have enough futons. Since I live in a bed, I can't use a futon that comes directly from the futon, and it said that I had to lay 6 futons in advance, so I thought it would be less painful if I laid 3 futons on each side. But there were only 5, so I had to communicate for hours, and they brought me a vape mat. In these situations, only Japanese staff can understand what I mean. I didn't ask for 2, but there were 6 sets and there were only 5 futons. They kept asking me, "How many are you using now? There are only 2 of us, right?" I said, "Isn't that right?" I said I needed one more, and they brought it. I was tired. And they brought a futon from the next room, even though they said that my desired room was full. I thought it was just a hassle to change rooms, so it's really disappointing.
