Centrally located near the bus n nishitetsu station . 4-5bus stops away from jr station. Many eateries n bars around. So easy to get around with the busses.

Right at the "central" bus station, 5 min walk away, the buses are great to get to places, to the many parks, etc, n to get to Kurume Station, for my next stop in Yufuin. Restaurants near by. The room is big, for Japan standard! Even had a sofa n small coffee table! Train stn opposite my room but didn't bother me at all, the noise was minimal. For the price, I'd go back there in an instant!

We stayed for 1 night on Saturday where it seemed to be pretty busy at this small hotel. The parking was limited but we were lucky to park at the hotel. The hotel’s location was great, closed to train station and shopping arcade. 5 of us could fit in one big spacious room with 3 big beds and 1 extra bed comfortably. The room was a bit old but the beds were comfy. There was a coin laundry in the hotel. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was ok with little variety of food.

Facilities: Very clean, there are toiletries on the first floor that you can take freely, with a full range of types (facial cleanser, makeup remover, lotion, rubber band, comb, toothbrush, etc.). Like many Japanese hotels, you don't need to bring your own skin care products. The toiletries in the bathroom are from Pola, which are very fragrant and easy to use;
Hygiene: Clean, but there is a strange pungent plastic smell in the corridor after the elevator, maybe perfume??
Environment: Next to Nishitetsu Kurume (railway and bus station, not JR station), it takes about a few minutes to walk there, very convenient, but there was noise around 10 o'clock in the two nights I stayed (similar to things being smashed upstairs, machinery and so on), it was fine after 12 o'clock in the morning...
Ps. The quilt is uncomfortable, the kind separated by a sheet;
The service is very good, but Kurume is a small city, it will be a bit boring, so if you want to play, one day is enough.
