The park is know for the water playground, which is great and our kids had a ball. However, the rest of the park left us questioning the Big 4 label - this is definitely not up to par with the other Big 4s we've stayed at, or just caravan parks in general. The deluxe cabins were essentially a good rain shelter, but we couldn't appreciate the outside porch with the chain smoking neighbours or the frequent trucks. The room itself hasn't been tested for functionality, especially when cooking as cords would have had to run over fry pans, etc. The most confusing thing about the room was having to make our kids beds - this would have been okay IF I hadn't met with a largerly stained mattress protector and then having to pull the bunks away from the wall to fit the sheet and seeing the collection dust bunnies. We had a visiting consultant staying from Melbourne, so we purchased takeaway lunches for 4 people on 2 occasions. Every meal from Beef Burgers, Steak Sandwiches, Chicken Burgers to Chicken and Cheese toasties was amazing. The food was fantastic, the staff were efficient and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Although we only ordered takeaway, we could see many families making the most of the large, well-maintained Water Park. Our guest from Melbourne remarked that if the Cafe was in Melbourne, it would be booked out!

Great place to stay, the staff are really friendly and accommodating, the pool is great for kids and the whole place has a really relaxing friendly atmosphere. We stayed in a cabin and there was plenty of room for us being a family of 2 adults and 4 kids. We can’t wait to come back!

Very beautiful town not far from highway. However, very tight van sites, very difficult to park van and close to neighbours. Amenities not cleaned daily - very ordinary. Ground staff not the least bit helpful. Park rundown and needs attention. This will be a one off stay.

5 STARS WELL DESRVED FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE. QUALITY OF SERVICE, FOOD AND DRINKS IN LICENSED BAR & RESTAURANT COULDN'T BE BETTER. BEST VALUE FOR MONEY WE'VE HAD IN FNQ. OVERALL FRIENDLINESS AND COMFORT MADE IT A WONDERFUL STAY. DEFINITELY BE BACK. EXCELLENT FAMILY RETREAT.

The staff are wonderful and cannot discredit them, we were disappointed with the cabin, The beds and pillows were rock hard, the linen is well and truly needing of being replaced it was scratchy?, the lounges had torn upholstery, and the images shown really didn’t depict the feel of the accommodation. Overall probably a 5/10
