"I stayed while stopping by my grandmother's house. Regarding the location, it is highly recommended for those who have a car. Not only is the recently built roadside station called KOKO Kurobe in front of you, but everything is nearby, including public baths and supermarkets.
The front desk was also very simple and we were able to check in immediately.
The room was not as quiet as a normal business hotel and was very quiet because the next door was not adjacent. The room shakes a little every time I walk, but it didn't bother me. There is also a vending machine on the premises, and there is also a free breakfast (frozen food), so there was nothing to worry about. I would like to use it again."
"The hotel is a bit old, but the room is very clean, breakfast and dinner are included, so you don't have to worry about food, accommodation and hot springs. It is a 20-minute drive from the Funakawa Kasuga Quartet. It's perfect to get up early to take pictures, come back to have breakfast, rest for a while, and then check out leisurely."

"Very spacious Japanese style rooms with very good breakfast and dinner buffets (dinner highlight was shabu shabu). Also very good Onsen bath with small outdoor ‘rotenburo’. A little bit of a walk to the tram station but the hotel will arrange a car to ferry you. Overall a very positive impression for a first time Route Inn chain guest."
"Beautiful hotel (about 7 min walk to the station) and was a great Ryokan experience as the room was traditional and had a breath-taking view. Futons were sufficiently comfortable - but wished there was the whole Ryokan welcome and fanfare.
Staff was welcoming but did not speak much English though they had papers of English instructions all ready. There was a free shuttle out of the hotel at fixed timings to the nearest Shinkansen (Unazukionsen Station)
Onsen was relaxing and was supplied with good quality products for every aspect of grooming. Lots of vending machines were available, there was a souvenir shop on site though pricey. We just did not enjoy the corridors as it gave out a creepy vibe (due to it being an older establishment), hence, we did not enjoy moving around the hotel). Facilities were beautiful and well preserved.
Food as part of the experience was a good and large helping. We opted for the full seafood experience but it had a lot of sashimi or cured seafood which was not to our own liking (we did not really know what we signed up for, really our fault!) Breakfast was a good spread and really hearty. A lot of traditional and local specialties to experience!
Overall a great stay!

"The room I booked should be the largest room with the best view in the hotel. It is indeed very comfortable and the buffet is very rich. However, there are many people and you need to go according to the scheduled time when checking in. Fortunately, I went later than the scheduled time. There were too many people queuing up when I went early. Because I didn't make an appointment for breakfast, I had to queue up on site, which took longer. I didn't expect so many people to travel in the off-season. I guess it's because the cost-effectiveness is high. The buffet is worth half of the room price."
"Unazuki Hot Spring Hotel is expensive. The problem is that the waiter who brought in the room does not speak English and is not proficient with the hotel's translation software. As a result, we were told that dinner was in the room, and we were waiting in the room on the 13th floor. It's actually in the private room of the restaurant on the 9th floor. After a quarter of an hour after the appointed time, please ask at the front desk to know the correct way. Dinner and breakfast are good. The room is 12 folds, plus the balcony area after sealing, and the tea is in the entrance. There are special drinking water taps. The pictures of breakfast and dinner can't accommodate, it's not bad. The hot springs are very good, and the male and female outdoor baths change every morning. The scenery is beautiful."
"The booking didn't tell there is no shower room in the room. Breakfast was not made known is only bento. We wanted to upgrade the breakfast but was rejected too. Overall not a good experience for the kids too"

GGuest User
GGuest UserThe hotel is a 10-minute walk from Unazuki Station. Since there was a heavy storm that day,
It was raining, so it was a bit awkward dragging my suitcase to the hotel. It was just renovated in 2023. There is a little smell in the room and the hot spring is very good! I paid extra to book a private bath. The water quality is so comfortable! The accommodation included dinner and breakfast the next day. The dinner was delicious. A male waiter could speak simple Chinese and had been to Shanghai. Basic communication was no problem. Breakfast the next day was still delicious. This hot spring area is relatively unpopular and there are not many online introductions, but it can avoid the crowds.
