An interesting place to stay with a different layout and idea of splitting the Airbnb throughout the village. Lovely little place and they gave good advice of where to go, there was a great hike a bus ride away I would highly recommend

I really enjoyed my time there. You get an authentic experience in such a beautiful area. The people I met there were amazing and so welcoming. I recommend anyone to visit the area and this place in particular.

A small hotel renovated from an old house may be difficult for foreigners to adapt to. Some of the waiters are also relatively poor.

The place is nice and traditional, the beds are really comfortable, the room were clean and the bathroom too. The staff is really welcoming, i felt like i was in home when i arrived here! They will show you a map of the places you can visit and also they will invite you sometimes to go places nearby if you don't have plans for the day. The internet conection is really nice and convenient if you have to work during the day. Next time i will come back and stay longer for sure!

If you’re thinking to stay 1 night, I don’t recommend it. Because there are so many things you must do. So much fun! Kurahashi Island, where this lovely guest house placed is very calm and peaceful. People on this island are friendly and very welcome. This stay is not for just sleeping. To enjoy and feel living on the island, this place stands. Let's have conversations with their staff members and other guests. If you want to do something, tell the staff members! They will give you some suggestions for you. I really recommend this guest house to feel like living on a Japanese island. You can eat great Okonomiyaki run by lovely grandma for lunch. When you got energy, go to the beautiful and calm Setouchi beach. You can go there by bus or pop into a rental car driven by staff. (You have to make sure there is a staff who can provide it. If you have a bit of luck, they will take you there) Let's go to SUP if you'd like. If you're tired, try Japanese Onsen you can reach it in 1 minute on your foot from the beach. They are very friendly and kind!! At the end of the day, you came home, then drink a secret Sake made here... You might see how they make Sake and feel it, with any lucks! That's what the stay feels like. That's why I'm telling you it isn't enough for just 1 night. There are so many kinds of stuff you should try. I'm sure you can experience the real Japanese culture and what's feeling like living in Japan, very countryside. It is a beautiful island...

I've always loved traveling, and have traveled to many places, but this was my first attempt at a long stay of one month. I usually spend my time in the city or on the road, but I wanted to "travel like a local" in a peaceful place that is not a tourist destination, and have time to relax and think about myself and my future. I was just halfway through my university life, so I had a lot of time to think about my future, but I had a lot of fun and slept well, and many wonderful ideas came to me through the repeated "conversations" with other guests and staff, which are important at this guesthouse. I was really glad that I had the courage to stay for a month. It was a very intense month, and time flew by in an instant, but I was able to organize my thoughts and grow. Of course, a few days' stay is a wonderful trip, but a long stay is highly recommended for those who want to face themselves properly or those who want to do artistic activities in a quiet space!

It is a place for conversation where a variety of people gather, including local ladies, fishing experts, unique travelers, and foreigners who come to enjoy their leisure time. In the evening, each guest brings their own ingredients, such as vegetables bought from a local greengrocer they found while exploring the town or fish they caught on the nearby coast, to cook and share around the table. , you can "stay like you live". There are many hills, and if you climb up, you might find a shrine nestling quietly, or you might even find dog and cat footprints on the concrete ground. Just by walking and talking, you can get a glimpse of life in this town. I believe that if you find your own way to enjoy your trip, have fun to your heart's content, and spend time freely, you will be fulfilled. There are surprisingly many local okonomiyaki restaurants, cafes, and izakaya restaurants within walking distance! Please try walking a lot.

I'm a third-year university student who lives in Shibuya, and I'm also a radio personality in Shibuya. On my first solo trip to Dialogue Village, I was able to get used to it on the first night and felt nostalgic, like visiting my grandma's house. I want to stay here forever listening to the sound of the sea, as the sea is said to be the second most transparent after Okinawa, and the scenery is nice, but the most appealing thing about this place is the people. It was a warm city where people were there to help visitors, and time seemed to slow down. At Dialogue Village, I thought the cooperation of the residents was amazing. The neighborhood supermarket is a refrigerator, the hospital is a health room, the cafeteria is an okonomiyaki restaurant, and all are connected by alleys, and this is called a dialogue village. You won't be able to get the feeling of living there if you stay for 1 night and 2 days, so I think it's better to stay for consecutive nights! It's an old private house, so it's not very convenient, but it had enough of the basic necessities to live. Thankfully, the WiFi is fast and the supermarket is only 3 minutes away. Above all, the people who live there are warm. In particular, I was really impressed by Acchan's desire to entertain the people who came to see her. It is housed in an old folk house from about 100 years ago, so it is recommended for people who enjoy the inconvenience. Also, it is worth staying at Dialogue Village at least once in your life because it is a place where people who want to balance work and play gather.
