Worse than in Africa.
The hostel is infested with flies. The shower room looks more disgusting than a butchers shop in Nigeria.
Air conditioning was broken. To make it work, there is a plastic tube that goes into a garbage bin in the middle of the room. Every couple of days the bin floods and spills over. Nobody at the rubbish hostel even tried to repair it during that week.
The location is quite good but the street is being repaired and a taxi cannot get to the hostel. Good luck if you are trying to get there with a suitcase.
No towels or lavatory paper. I suppose, the Chinese have stopped using those since the Cultural Revolution.
On a positive note, I saw only one cockroach during my stay.
On the whole, the hostel is fit for pigs, not for people.

Overall great stay! Fantastic service and very large beds in the dormitory. However there seems to be a bit of a fly problem which was annoying at times.

It was my first time staying in a youth hostel, it was great!
