Kimberley Croc Motel

This place is an absolute disgrace. Where to begin. The rooms are about 30 years past their used by date, all old and decrepit. The curtains in the room are a thin white material, with bright Fluro lights right outside the door, so all night the room is lit up like daylight which makes for a terrible night sleep. The walls are paper thin, soo prepare for bulk snoring and alarms on both sides. Its all a key system, so after 7pm you need to unlock the padlock on the main gates then let yourself in, then try find a park in the overcrowded car park and usually just make one as its full, then let yourself through the internal gate, then finally turn another key to get into your room. It may be securely but clearly they have never heard of swipe cards or automatic gates. Once your in then then you find all the rooms are wrapped around the courtyard, so you always have the lovely smell of vapes and cigarettes wafting into your room. The you can enjoy the comforts of your room - an aircon that hardly works, blankets for the bed covered in long dark hairs, broken and dirty furniture and fittings. And if that wasn't enough, then one night you might even be lucky enough to walk around the big pile of spew on the pathway, curtesy of one of the lovely patrons of the motel. This is by far the worst "Motel" I have stayed at in years, anywhere around the world. I have had $10/night rooms in Vegas that were cleaner than nicer than this, mud huts in Africa that were nicer. It a complete shame to all involved in running the place. Do not stay here!

Apologies in advance for saying that when we first drove up to this motel, we thought we'd made a mistake - not a new looking place at all. But the office was welcoming and staff very friendly, helpful and chatty. And then we were blown away by the high standard of our room. It had been renovated to a good standard and we were very comfortable there. The room was well presented and very clean. Location was excellent and we could walk to everything in the town. We did hire a car for the first day so we could see a few lookouts, the Ivanhoe crossing and drive to Lake Argyle and do the sunset tour. But for the next day and a half, we could easily walk to the things we wanted to see closer to town. We enjoyed our stay at the Kimberley Croc.

Thank you for a really wonderful second stay where my little 🐶🐶 ‘s were extremely welcome. It’s so lovely to be able to bring my dogs away with me and not have to worry. Great location and great staff. This is the perfect place to stay with or without pets!

It is located centrally and convenient with Coles / shops and cafes across the road. The staff for were so welcoming to us, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable even bringing us milk back, personally on a Sunday night. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable, great air conditioning and equipped with basic kitchen items / crockery, microwave etc if required. The Laundrette on-site too was so convenient. Complimentary pickup and airport drop off too.

Great accommodation and very friendly management and staff. We had complimentary transfer from Kununurra Airport to Kimberley Croc Motel. Very central location. Very comfortable bed. Very pleasant internal court yard and garden. Thank you all.
