PPeiqibaoerI spent three days in Zhouzhuang, and was able to take a break both after the tour, which was definitely because I chose the right Zen Village. I read the reviews carefully before booking and found that the proprietress would respond enthusiastically to each review one by one. People with the same frequency will meet each other even if they cross mountains and seas. This is the fate I have with the boss lady.
It is clean and comfortable here, with complete hardware and a homely feel.
The most interesting thing is that their dogs can roam around freely. I stayed there for three days and only took a picture of him sneaking out from behind. Your boss was still watering the vegetable garden.
🔔The location of Chanyi Li is near the entrance of the scenic area, about 5-6 minutes walk from the nearest attraction, Shen Hall entrance
🔔Unlike Wuzhen, the advantage of staying outside the scenic area in Zhouzhuang is that you don’t have to worry about having a lot of luggage. The gravel road in the scenic area is not flat.

SsmilingwillaThe accommodation experience at Zhouzhuang Mailun Academy (former residence of Shen Tilan) is impressive. This late Qing Dynasty heritage-protected building enclosed by high walls is carefully decorated in a modern Shanghai-style style, retaining the historical charm while incorporating modern comfort and convenience. The accommodation environment is elegant and peaceful, as if you are in an exquisite Jiangnan water town painting.
The B&B has complete internal facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are soft and comfortable, allowing you to have a good night's sleep. Especially the scenery of the B&B, whether taking pictures or relaxing, is very stylish and makes people linger. The afternoon tea and breakfast provided by the B&B are also very delicious. While enjoying the delicious food, you can also feel the unique charm of Zhouzhuang.
The environment around Mailun Academy is also very beautiful. You can reach various attractions in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town within walking distance, making it very suitable for family outings or couples' vacations. Staying here, you can not only feel the history and culture of Zhouzhuang, but also enjoy a rare tranquility and leisure.
In addition, it was a pleasure to chat with the shop owner and the guy in the shop. I particularly like the location because it is within walking distance from the Kunshan Culture and Art Center. It is so convenient to watch performances from Shanghai, especially when there are some popular performances that cannot be bought in Shanghai. The curve saves the country and the price-performance ratio is unparalleled.

GGuest UserThis place was absolutely amazing, the host was the best we’ve come across, from meeting us and carrying all our bags, to finding us in the rain whilst we were shopping to offer umbrellas due to the downpour . The room was immaculate, we were able to store our drinks etc in the large commercial fridge, and yes it was cold!! Bottled water was free anytime. The location is brilliant , you can walk around the town and drop back and use the home stay facilities anytime, this was so nice as the facilities were so clean. Our room was spacious overlooking the canals, so even if you felt like a break, a drink and nibbles in your room whilst watching the events below was relaxing.
The restaurant next door was the nicest we’d come across. I would recommend 2 nights stay, and definitely don’t look any further trying to find a better spot , book here. The Host spoke English and was easy to contact by email or mobile and WeChat. This is a family home stay business and it was evident during our stay. I’d give this place 10 stars

GGuest UserThe hotel is well-equipped and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and professional, and solved the problem of our luggage being stranded in the room in a timely manner. The front desk staff Xiaolin and Xiaoyang were very enthusiastic, and the floor manager Zhu Zhengyuan was also very good, replenishing our mineral water and sending us a bottle of milk in a timely manner. The breakfast was also very good, and I will come again next time!

GGuest UserOne of our favorite places. Really a great stay. The lady who runs the place is super nice. Room had cool exotic decorations and furniture. The balcony was nice although not much to see but done roof tops.
Location is great. You have to pay 100 rmb to enter the city before you walk a few blocks to hotel. Right next to double bridge which is famous because of an old painting but otherwise no big desk. Indeed there were other double bridges and more picturesque bridges.
Only drawback was no breakfast at all. So you need to wander around and find a restaurant. We madd the mistake of ordering coffee from a coffee shop. Despite 35rmb - more expensive than in US it was just an automatic machine - not barista made, and couldn’t even taste much coffee. This has nothing to do with the hotel but it was a ripoff.
Another good thing about the hotel was they have another business of historical clothes rental with makeup and photography. It turned out great.

GGuest UserBefore going, remember to add the owner of the hotel to WeChat! The boss will send the parking lot location, and it takes about 5 minutes to walk from the West Parking Lot to the B&B. But we came directly from work at night. Some were late. We needed to walk through a country road without lights. We were still a little scared. It should be possible to take the road, it is convenient to map, it is really convenient. I will enter the scenic spot soon. After 9 o'clock in the evening, before 7 o'clock in the morning, no tickets are required.
Facilities: Hard board bed, not used to sleeping, but husband especially likes it.
Hygienic: Very clean, that is, the family room we live in, the bathroom has no exhaust, and the taste is a bit heavy.
Environment: Very close to the scenic spot, there are also flower alleys and rain alley light shows near the hotel at night.
Service: The store is very polite and communicates smoothly before going. When I arrived, I told the store that the store turned on the air conditioner for us in time, which was very intimate.

DDima DiI really like this hotel, it is already the third time I come here and for good reasons. It has a little something special then the regular tipical hotels offer. Like the nespresso coffee, or the soft comfy pillows for example.
Positively to mention is the staff. Speak good English and very friendly, like Jessie or David Wei for example. David not only speaks very good English, but threw in a free upgrade for me which made me feel special. The suite of the hotel is very spacious and offer plenties.
Highlight of this hotel, what I don't find anywhere else for this budget is the wellness area. Big pool, outstanding gym with TRX and body workout equipment. Best, however is the sauna with a cold plunge. A cold water plunge is almost impossible to find in other hotels, unless you are waaaaay in higher budget.
So for those out there practicing sauna + cold plunge, this is with no doubt your choice.

GGuest UserLocation was perfect and also my initial consideration, right at the center of city. No much to expect except for those standard items example - service, cleanliness or comfortability therefore to my surprise, the rooms were cosy and clean (guessed it’s because they were newly renovated or not long ago) but, but except for some minor hiccups example - air conditioning controls (remote and wall mounted) + room WiFi needs pre-logging on before connectable (used my phone hotspot to fix problem)! Everything was fine until the next day slightly before checking out, they cut off my room electricity abruptly half an hour before checkout time! Imagine if you’re still using the bathroom! This needs serious attention as I have never encounter such scenarios before, in my entire life experience of travelings and staying in hotels. Never. Of course my booking came with the “late checkout privilege” so why the rush? Oh and they did offer an upgrade of room (when checking in) but, but with additional charges! Wondering if these misunderstandings were “intentional” or caused by miscommunication between the hotel management and platform, a sales technique? Please clarify: rewards enjoyable/ available after booking, if possible thank you
