It was my first time staying in this hotel for 5 nights. 20 to 25th August 2024. Every time I come to Kunming I stay at Sofitel Hotel but I will change my mind in future. I was pleasantly surprised that the this hotel service was very good. 1, warm welcome from the front desk receptionist, quick check-in and check-out. 2, the room staff is professional and smiling. 3. The warm service of the restaurant staff. @Amazingly, the hotel also offers a buffet breakfast and lunch, which are very rich and nutritious. All hotel staff are very warm every day,makes me feel at home. I’m sure I will choice again this hotel when I have business trip in Kunming.

🎉The service of this hotel is awesome! The front desk staff is so nice, polite and considerate. They took the initiative to help with the luggage and gave us souvenirs when we left! The breakfast and lunch were both very rich and tasted great! I had a very comfortable stay here and will come back next time! 💯

It only costs more than ten yuan to take a taxi to Kunming Old Street, but the hotel is a bit far from the subway station, so the starting fee for taking a taxi is high. They helped us upgrade the room type (probably because of the off-season), helped us take our luggage to the room when we checked in, and greeted us every time we went downstairs at the front desk. I booked Deting Garden Hotel from Ctrip because it had a high review score and an underground parking lot with plenty of parking spaces, so I decided to book it. After arriving at the hotel, its appearance did not look magnificent and tall, but from the moment I entered the hotel front desk to check in, I felt the warmth. The girl at the front desk first served two cups of warm tea, and then checked us in. We showed our ID cards, and when we returned them after the procedures, each ID card was covered with a protective cover. When we went to the room to deliver the luggage, the girl at the front desk enthusiastically helped us pull the suitcase and delivered it to the door of the room. We felt bad and refused several times but failed. When we entered the room and saw that the room was spacious and the environment was clean, especially the warm reminder card on the big bed, we felt warm again, and felt like we were home. In addition, the food in this hotel is also great! I have to give a thumbs up. The breakfast buffet has a rich variety of choices, needless to say. What I want to say is that Deting Garden Hotel (Kunming High-tech New Times Branch) is different from other hotels in that it also provides free lunch and supper, which is rare. If we come to Kunming again, we should choose it again.

It is unlike the nearby Wyndham Hotel, where the self-service laundry actually charges for laundry detergent. It is the first time for a five-star hotel to earn this little money. The rooms at Deting Hotel are also very good, big enough, clean and hygienic. I recommend it and will stay there again when I come to Kunming.

The environment is good. I have a little difficulty falling asleep. The light shielding here is very good. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, especially the pillow, which is much better than that of ordinary hotels. The service attitude is also very good. Another trip deceived by Xiaohongshu🧳😭 The hotel is not big, the facilities are old, the room is shabby, and the note is quiet. At first, I was given a second floor. I could hear a lot of water and barking dogs. It was noisy outside or in the dining area. Later, I moved to the fourth floor. There was no water and it was better. The hotel's dishes are basically the same, but they provide lunch buffet and supper (the supper is wonton noodles and rice noodles). But what makes people feel comfortable is that although the facilities are shabby, the bedding is very comfortable, and there are disposable face towels and drinks and coffee, as well as humidifiers. Moreover, every service staff here will greet you no matter it is morning, noon or night. They will greet you and are very enthusiastic! Most people in Kunming are very simple! The weather is also unique. It is really cool and comfortable when there is no sun. When there is sun, it is very sunny, and there are very few insects.

The hotel's breakfast is particularly rich and more suitable for our northern tastes. The hotel also provides lunch and dinner (but we didn't have time to eat).
