Gefei Hotel (Kunming Railway Station North Square Branch)

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, we knew the location was excellent so close to the train station. But the rooms are exceptionally clean and well maintained, with all the amenities you need, including a fridge which we found to be rare in our travels and laundy room! We had a room with a terrace (also rare) and loved being able to unwind outside overlooking the restraint area, which is very picturesque. Staff were friendly and professional. he meal we had at the restaurant was excellent. Absolutely recommend this hotel, one of the best we stayed in during our 3 week trip in China.

Hotel near Kunming train station very convenient for traveler many restaurants around but the hotel toilets flashing system is very bad , after doing you business flushing system not working need to call for cleaning, but the cleaner told me that I can’t throw the toilet roll paper into the WC because the system only works without paper , instead I have to throw the toilet roll paper into a basket beside the WC , just imagine that you have to sleep with the poo smell at you room , horrible 😬🤮

Located 5-7mins walk away from the Railway station and a good place to stay at if you are looking to take the train from Kunming. Rooms are very new and clean, and an overall comfortable stay. Check-out time was amazing at 2pm. There are quite a lot of food options around the hotel, even at midnight, so you will not be hungry. Would stay again if I were in Kunming.

Conveniently located near the train station. Good as a transit hotel to the rest of Yunnan.

The hotel is located within walking distance from the railway station. There are endless food options around the area. Rooms are very clean and I was satisfied with my stay.
