Bird photography at the hotel backyard is not allowed which is ridiculous as there is no warning sign or whatsoever. A lady just came to say something with probably not a polite attitude. As a bird photographer who selects this hotel especially for bird photography and this special need cannot be accepted at their backyard! This is no fun at all. If the hotel doesn’t allow photographers to take bird photos at their backyard, they have to make it very clear in their Facebook or at least upon checking in !

We went when it rained. So there’s nothing to do. This place feel like Vietnamese hotel. It has 3 washing machine and dryer. There’s no restaurant in that area. The hotel restaurant stop serving food at 7pm. We didn’t know until we went to restaurant 730pm. They were cleaning up already. There’s 3 vending machine. The one with instant noodles was broken. The receptionist was very reluctant to ask for her colleague to restart the machine. The water in the bathroom is very powerful. The bed was hard. Very uncomfortable. We hardly slept. From 120am, there was power outage for about 3 hours. So it was stuffy as there’s no AC. The staff was not apologetic on the next day too. If you don’t have to, don’t suggest you stay overnight at this hotel.

This hotel provides no teabag in the room. No coffee in the room. The bathroom light is dim. Really hard for elderly people like me.

There is no choice for breakfast and dinner, set meals, but it is very good! The sanitation is very clean, and the water in the bathtub is very fast! The service is very thoughtful. You can see birds in the forest at night, and a local bird! Exceeded expectations

I stayed here for two nights for the first time. The location was good for sightseeing in the north, and the hotel amenities were good, so I wanted to use them at home. The bed was just the right firmness, and the sheets were made of waffle fabric, so they felt good to use. The Kunigami area is rich in nature, and unfortunately the weather was not good on the day we visited, so it was a shame that the stars were not out. I'm sure that if the weather was good, we would have been able to see a beautiful starry sky. I heard that the Yanbaru Kuina was in the vicinity, but unfortunately we were not able to see them, but we were able to hear their cries. Dinner was by reservation the day before, but when I asked when I arrived on the day, they prepared it for me and it was delicious. There are convenience stores and restaurants near the hotel, but even the closest one takes more than 20 minutes by car, so I recommend making a reservation for meals. However, there is a wide variety of snacks such as cup ramen and sweets in the vending machines, so you can get by with those. On the second night, I bought some local products at the supermarket before arriving and returned to the hotel. If I go to the north again, I would like to use your services again. Thank you very much.

There was a parking lot on-site, which was convenient. The breakfast buffet had a lot of Okinawan dishes and was healthy and very delicious. The room had no desk or chair, just a big bed and was clean and simple. When sightseeing, the most important thing is a bed to sleep on, so this was actually a simple and good value for money room.

Warm and friendly staff Good dinner and breakfast Good room layout Should provide tea and coffee in the room Should ask guests any food not suitable rather than merely asking about allergy . My family does not eat beef and was told that I did not state any allergy when booking . As a result we were served with a beef steak .

This is a bird watchers' hotel and is conveniently situated for easy exploration of the area. The Okinawan Rail inhabits the woods nearby and an early morning stake out in front of the hotel's carpark guarantees one of Rail sightings. The raucous call of these charming bird is also hard to miss. In the evening and well into the night, owls hoot and other birds (?)/wildlife make their presence heard if you leave your windows open. We did. The hotel itself is quite old and shows its age. Our room was acceptable but quite basic. The meals were okay if you can tolerate the same breakfast served everyday. And, if you are into Japanese breakfasts. My husband had to make do with sandwiches we purchase from Lawson but he did not complain. The dinners were a little more varied but don't expect gourmet meals. Simple fare is what you can expect. There is also free laundry amenities on site and that was such a huge convenience - I will almost stay here just for that.

When we arrived we thought it was going to be another scruffy Asian hotel but we were very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were pretty tiny and very basic but they were spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent and there was a guest laundry along with snacks in the lobby. BE AWARE you MUST book your evening meal before you arrive because you will not have a meal on the first night if you don't. In a way that is good news because all the food is bought fresh each day. You should know that despite the name there is no garden here.

Fairly large older place in the middle of a national park. Rooms are spacious, with a sitting area. Meals are wonderful, with generous proportions. Surrounding area is not walkable but you can drive to trails. Cape Hedo is worth the drive - there's a cafe with a view there. Coin laundry available.

I stayed here for two nights from April 21st. The building is old, but it doesn't feel dated and it had a very nice atmosphere. The hotel was also well-cleaned and the staff were kind and polite, so I was able to stay comfortably. When I told them in advance that I would like to send my luggage to the hotel, they gladly accepted and left it in my room, so the detailed service was great. I ordered dinner on the first day. It was a simple hamburger steak, but it was very delicious. I was also happy that the washing machine and dryer could be used for free. There were monitors and photos introducing wildlife such as the Okinawa rail, which I enjoyed looking at. Overall, it was a hotel that I would like to come back to.

It's not luxurious considering it's an Okinawa resort hotel, but it's a fine hotel considering it's located in the Yanbaru forest in the northernmost part of Okinawa's main island. The materials were brought from Vietnam and the furniture was also made in Vietnam. There is nothing around. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can hear the calls of the Yanbaru rails at night and in the morning, and I was able to see two wild Yanbaru rails while observing the forest next to the hotel early in the morning. I was really lucky. When I asked the hotel staff, they said it's easy to see them.

Lost in the middle of the jungle massif in the far north of Okinawa (although the road is not bad, and it does not take that long to get to the coast), is this small hotel, with a colonial-looking wooden floor and carved furniture. It would look like a hunting lodge or a viceregal palace from another era. Very clean and with all the comforts, you can feel the jungle just by opening the balcony or contemplating a rich blanket of stars... Friendly and very helpful staff. Half board guarantees you a succulent dinner, since other restaurants are less practical distances away.
