This is the hotel I am most satisfied with in recent years. I never write reviews, but I decided to write a few. The hotel's mega zip is amazing! The private beach is also very suitable for children. You can see a lot of fish when snorkeling near the reef. The scenery of the hotel is very goodđ. And the hotel has many activities, such as blue hole diving and tennis. Even though I have booked so many five-star hotels by the sea on Ctrip, this one is still remarkable!

Really perfect for family!! Although it is very expensive in summer, you will not regret booking! Very nice and fun swimming pools, my kid can spend whole day in the swimming pool. We also joined snorkeling and banana boat at the hotel marine center. Strongly recommend staying for at least 3 days or else you wonât have enough time to use all hotel facilities.

I had a wonderful stay at the Orion Hotel in Motobu during my trip to Okinawa. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short distance from popular attractions like the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and the beautiful Emerald Beach. The surrounding views of the ocean and lush greenery were breathtaking.
The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. I particularly loved the balcony, which offered a stunning view of the seaâperfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided made my stay even more convenient.
The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and professional. They were always willing to assist, whether it was answering my questions about local attractions or ensuring my room was perfectly prepared. Their hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable.
One highlight of my stay was the hotelâs breakfast buffet. The variety of local Okinawan dishes and international options was impressive, and everything was fresh and delicious. The outdoor pool and spa facilities were also excellent and added to the overall luxury of the experience.
I highly recommend the Orion Hotel Motobu to anyone visiting this part of Okinawa. Itâs perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay. I look forward to returning in the future!

Because of the good reviews, we chose this northernmost hotel in Okinawa, even though it was December, and arrived while enjoying a drive.
However, perhaps due to a system error, the reservation details made through Trip.com did not include use of the club lounge, and there was no valet service, so we had to go to and from a distant parking lot in the cold.
It had nothing to do with us as guests, but the front desk staff in charge seemed dissatisfied with the matter after checking, and the only thing they did was a businesslike exchange without any hospitality, which was lonely. Also, perhaps by coincidence, another person who was driving the guest cart back and forth in the rain was driving recklessly, and my husband and I exchanged glances.
(The cart staff are usually considerate and kind.)
As a result, the club lounge and the location, food and drinks at the morning meal that we used were wonderful, and although the entire facility is certainly old, it was a nice hotel that felt clean and polite in every way, so it was a shame.
The next day, we checked out in very warm, fine weather.

The level of service was exceptional - the concierge was extremely helpful, and the housekeeping staff kept my room pristine. The on-site dining options were excellent, with a high-quality restaurant serving delicious, locally-sourced cuisine. I also made good use of the well-equipped fitness center and reliable, fast WiFi. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would not hesitate to book with your hotel again in the future. The combination of outstanding service and top-notch facilities made for a wonderfully comfortable and productive visit.

Amazing resort hotel. I stayed there for three nights and i am so glad that I have chosen it for my first time visit to Okinawa. I really love the swimming pool and the private beach of the hotel. Their infinity pool even is filled with sea water!
Breakfast is also awesome. I like the great amount of vegetables options. I hope they can offer more variety of protein such as chicken dish. There is no freshly made juice which is also a letdown.
The room is perfect in all areas. Bedding super comfortable and the air con is quiet. I think the ventilation of the bathroom is the only issue.

The hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge.
The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people.
The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied.
Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.

This hotel is an older property that doesn't quite live up to the standard you'd expect from an Intercontinental hotel in a major city. While the rooms are dated, the hotel's beach and pool are great amenities, and there are fireworks displays in some of the nights at the pool.
The hotel can get quite crowded, especially during peak summer season when I visited. With only 2 elevators servicing all floors, be prepared to wait a bit to get to your room. The breakfast options are varied, 3 restaurants each offering different breakfast - Western, Japanese, and local Okinawan selections, but they tend to be very busy in the mornings.
The local staff were friendly, though the foreign staff could be less than polite in their interactions. Overall, itl is an aging property that doesn't quite live up to the Intercontinental brand, but the great outdoor facilities and location make it an acceptable choice for a stay in the area.

Outstanding
GGuest UserWhen I drove out of the underground parking lot and turned left, I unfortunately hit the curb. Although the rental car was insured, even if the car was damaged, the police would need to record it before it could be accepted. I am very grateful to the handsome foreign guy at the front desk who helped me contact the police and accompanied me to complete the transcript. Fortunately, I stayed in this hotel. Fortunately, I had the help of the front desk staff. Words cannot fully express my gratitude.
The hotel room and bathtub are both large. It is not a problem for a family of three to take a bath together. There are bath salts to put in and bubble massage. My son enjoys his time in the hotel very much, not to mention there are marshmallows to eat at the outdoor bar at night. .
There is more than one choice of porridge in the morning, and they are all quite delicious. I would like to come back and stay next time I come to Okinawa!
GGuest UserThe hotel decoration is a little old, but it is very clean and gives people a very comfortable feeling! The public facilities are comparable to 5 stars, and the restaurant, swimming pool, beach, and rest area are all great; the hotel has a particularly strong natural atmosphere, and the dense vegetation is the result of years of maintenance; there are two indoor and outdoor swimming pools in the hotel, and the white sand beach has fine sand. The only âregretâ is that it has been calm and there are no waves these days. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast included in the hotel can be replaced with a buffet lunch, and snow crabs can be eaten to your heart's content. Children under 5 years old are free, and you can directly use the âmeal ticketâ to eat in the morning or at noon. In terms of transportation, the airport's LIM-C or LIM-CD can reach the hotel entrance, which is convenient for back and forth, and you need to buy a ticket. As for the shortcomings mentioned in some reviews, such as the curtains not blocking light, low water pressure, etc., the problems do exist but are acceptable. I wake up naturally at 8 am Japan time and 7 am Beijing time every day. The only thing worth noting is that the air conditioning in the room is very cold, and those who are afraid of cold need to pay attention. One of the very good experiences so far is worth writing so many words!
JJoyThe location and facilities inside the room are nice, however, the customer service is not ideal. It is normally assumed that after booking a hotel online with a booking confirmation, all necessary information is already on the confirmation letter. However, travelers who stay at this property will still have to actively reach out to the hotel for check-in ID in order to do self-check-in via iPad. It would be great if the hotel could reach out to the traveler before their check-in.
What's even worse is that during the check-in process, we did a face-to-face meeting via iPad, and there was no information provided by the staff that we would need a password to enter the hotel after certain hours. After dinner outside, when we returned to the hotel, we were locked outside the hotel, and luckily, we were able to call the Japanese phone number via the public phone. It would have been a nightmare if there had been no public phone or if no one from the hotel had picked up the phone.
GGuest UserI drove to the hotel, although the location is inconspicuous, but the environment is very good, the hall can look at the sunset and endless sea views. There are cooking facilities, if you are traveling by car there is a large supermarket nearby where you can buy something to cook yourself, and the distance to Nago is not far, there are enough restaurants in the area to choose from. Overall experience is good, but it is recommended not to choose to come during hurricane season, otherwise there will be ** annoying.
CC cowThe service was great! Every corner of the hotel room AND the bath area are squeakly clean. I could say that the bath area was even cleaner than most of people houses. The shower head power was incredibly strong, I could wash my hair 2x faster than normal showers! Parking area was huge and convenient. The bedroom was super cozy, the beds were comfy too but if you need extra spaces for maybe your family, theres extra futon for you to use (although you have to ask the counter and pay). Overall I really enjoyed staying over. I was suprised during my stay, there were barely any customers which made my bathing experience extra enjoyable.
GGuest UserThe white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch.
The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay.
GGuest UserJapanese style room is very good choice for my family. Especially my child was satisfied dadami space and indoor-pool. And It was very nice because Churaumi was close and there were many restaurants available nearby.
But, It was a shame that many baby-cars in were not prepared and old-facilities.
Overall, I was satisfied and if I will visit northern of Okinawa, I will reserve again to this resort.
GGuest UserAn old hotel, with very big rooms and nice views, the location of the hotel is a little bit far away from anything. In any case, for resting, it is worth. Be ready to go up and down the hill (the hotel is on top of a hill) if you want to go out for strolling the beach, restaurants or the like. Being in the middle of nowhere sometimes has its advantages.
Relatively convenient bus stops down the trail connects you with Naha/airport in about 1h45min for budget option, 1:15 min for a limousine bus and maybe just 1h for a private/rental car. It is a place to rest, and that's it. Do not expect a fancy service.
The Japanese has their own rules regarding cleaning time and tea music in the afternoon, so if you are a foreigner, expect shocking situations such as bedding exchange time (there is a schedule for that), tea music time at 5 (which in case you get a nap for whatever reasons (i.e diving) it can make you wonder whatÂŽs going on (not just in the lobby, but in your room as well) and okinawa typical folklore music until 8 every day in the afternoon. If you have to sleep a while because of exhausting day, it could be relatively annoying.
In any case, for the price it has, it is okay.
GGuest UserThe location is convenient, just near the bus stop No. 120 Maekenroku. It is cost-effective. It is in the middle of Zhongbo Beach and Tiger Beach. There is also a convenience store opposite the hotel to solve your needs.
LLeno Chen1This hotel is very good, the location is good, the price is not expensive, it is super worth it, the breakfast is also very rich, the bathroom is separated, and there is a disinfection system. The family stayed for two nights and everyone was very satisfied.
