The Wild Retreat

We had an amazing stay at The Wild Retreat, right in the heart of the Kumbhalgarh valley. The location is stunning, especially during the monsoon — it felt like pure bliss being surrounded by greenery and Aravali hills The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the right amenities. The highlight for us was definitely the private infinity pool overlooking the valley — such a peaceful and beautiful spot to relax. Watching the clouds drift right into the rooms and restaurant area was a surreal experience. The food was delicious — especially the Laal Maas and Chicken Curry, which we’d highly recommend. If you’re planning to book, definitely go for the valley view cottage or the Valley View cottage with a private pool for the best experience. Would love to visit again!

I spent 2 nights with my son at the wild retreat. Our room was very spacious and clean with plenty of toiletries. We also had a great balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend 😃

Beautiful Property. Home away from home. Excellent food, hospitality. The staff is well mannered and co operative. The GM Mr. Shambhu Singh ji is always present fro ur queries. Well maintained. Perfect destination in Khumbalgarh to stay any day.

We just visited Wild Retreat. It is one of the best hotels in Kumbhalgarh in terms of peaceful environment, infrastructure, rooms, meals and lastly service. This is also one of the oldest property approx. 14 years old but it is still well managed property. Pool Villas are the best rooms having valley View. Resort has infinity pool as well. Kids play area, amphitheater, open space for group DJ arrangement. Thank you Shambhu Sir for your extended support throughout our stay. Everybody is working at his best like Ajay, Himmat, Chandrajeet, Sohan, Dushyant and entire staff of TWR. Strongly recommended...!!! You will be gonna love this property for sure...!!!

Fancy place, large grounds, monkeys in the trees, peacocks, pretty flowers. Fantastic views. Large private decks. Nice big rooms, comfortable beds, extremely attentive staff. We were the only ones there! Dinner (included) was atrocious, really bad, but probably our error. We were told we could order off the menu or let the chef decide a set menu so we went with that assuming he'd pick the best ingredients he had and that it would be Indian. Oops. A bizarre attempt at American food that was laughably inedible. The picture is of the "salad": apples, mayonnaise, nuts and maraschino cherries. Oh boy. Breakfast was great - the French toast was amazing! Very convenient place to stay to visit Kumbulgargh Fort.

We stayed in this lovely nature resort for 2 nights in Superior Valley View cottage.The rooms are spacious and made of stone with wonderful views of Kumbhalgarh valley. Waking up to the spectacular sunrise in the wooded hills, enjoying the cultural dance program with live bonfire in the chilly evenings arranged by the hotel, the helpful and empathetic staffs specially Jhalom Singh , Bhanwar Singh and personalised service by Lokesh ji at the restaurant made our stay one of the best in recent years. If you wish to enjoy the solitude and the unspoiled beauty of nature, you must visit this place!
