It is said that it will be launched from Onigajo for about 15 minutes from 18:30. The Onigajo Center can be seen from ”Nami”, but the launch seems to be from the breakwater under Benten Shrine in Shichiri Mihama on the opposite side. When I looked it up, there were 7 parking lots planned, and the No. 1 parking lot was the Onigajo No. 2 parking lot next to Nami. The venue is on the opposite side of Onigajo, so you have to drive through the Onigajo Tunnel or go through the Onigajo Pedestrian (Kimoto) Tunnel. The first time I went through a sidewalk (only for cars going east) tunnel, I walked 600 meters in about 10 minutes, a little over a kilometer depending on where I was to see. This ryokan onsen hotel feels new and clean overall; even without a shower tub in the room, I did not mind going to its nice public onsen for bathing. Dinner and Breakfast are both excellent. I used this hotel as a base to visit the incomparable Maruyama Senmaida and Doro-kyo Gorge / Kitayama, using a rented bike from Kumano Itaya Kurobe no sato, Michino-no-eki in Kiwacho Itaya. Hotel staff and Customer Service at this hotel are also the best, as evidenced by the free hotel shuttle back to Kumano or Shingu. Without question, this is the best hotel out of the 18 I stayed at during my 5 week trip to Japan this Spring.

There are Kumano Hayatama Taisha shrine and kamikura Jinja shrine nearby, so it is also convenient to visit Kumano Sanzan. I stayed at various national hotels, but it was an impressive hotel including Cospa.
