It was so good. The room was clean and there were several family baths, so I chose it and I think I made a good choice. I used 3 out of 4 family baths and they were all great. The water was really nice. It was so soft. Dinner and breakfast were both good, and the breakfast was a little more satisfying.

A small family-run hotel, clean and quiet, with indoor and outdoor hot springs and private baths. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is good, and the waiters are friendly. Highly recommended

It can be said that I am very satisfied! In the small peak season before the Spring Festival, it is really great to be able to book a hot spring hotel with one night and two meals at such a low price! A group of three friends and I took a bus from Sakuramachi Terminal for about an hour, and walked about 1.5km to the station (in fact, there is a bus that can go directly to the hotel entrance, we missed it, so everyone must check the route conditions of GoogleMap at different times!). But fortunately, the journey is good, and the scenery after the rain is super beautiful! So I pushed the suitcase and took pictures and arrived unknowingly~ 1. There is a sister at the front desk who can communicate in English, and basic communication is no problem at all! The accommodation is on the second floor. Although there is no elevator, the clerk helped us to the room very nicely~ 2. When checking in, you will be asked to choose the dinner and breakfast time. According to the time selection, you can arrange the hot spring ♨️ time reasonably! 3. Dinner is relatively simple, and you can choose what you like from the set meal provided; breakfast is also quite satisfactory. It is not as good as a hot spring hotel with an average of 2,000 per person per night, but the overall cost performance is full, and there is a super large Family Mart at the door. We also like convenience store food! 4. We chose the hot spring after dinner ♨️ You can take any hot spring key box at the front desk that has not been taken away, and the time limit is one hour (but we can't do it in 20 minutes, hahahahaha). Put on bathrobes and go ♨️. The three of us took a bath in one hot spring, and the space is completely OK. There are even two hot springs, indoor and outdoor~ 5. Surprise link, my friend saw the Gundam she liked in the store, and she couldn't move for a long time. After being seen by the kind-hearted store clerk sister, she let her choose the one she liked as a gift 🥹 So touching. (It reminds me of the news that I was looking at bags in the window of a counter in Dubai and was given a bag by a rich man...) In short, I have taken a few Japanese hot springs, but the previous ones were relatively high-end and expensive. I have no psychological bias for this one, and it is even very heartwarming ☺️ I would like to call it the king of cost-effectiveness~ I am willing to go again! 👍

In terms of price, this Japanese-style tatami room is quite large. It's big enough for two people, and the suitcase can be fully opened. But there is only a toilet in the room and no independent bathroom. To take a shower, you have to go to a public bathhouse or a private bath. You won’t have to queue up for a private bath and it’s very useful. The hot spring is also very comfortable. The service staff has a good attitude, considerate service and is very patient. Even though we didn’t understand the language, we were very patient and used the translation app to communicate with us. Thank you very much. I am very satisfied with this stay. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are both delicious. I thought it was a bit expensive at first, but after staying there, I felt it was well worth it!

Advantages · I think this is by far the best water quality among the Japanese hot springs I have experienced so far. · Friendly staff · Cozy space · You can use the family bath even if you are alone. · Dinner of ridiculous quality. The best Japanese course meal I've ever had. disadvantage · There is no private shower space in the room (but you can use the family bath to yourself). Things to keep in mind · Must walk for about 20 minutes after public transportation · There is really nothing around except for one convenience store, so it may not be suitable for travelers who want to do activities.

A quiet ryokan located in the quiet countryside of Ueki Village. Approximately 1 hour from Kumamoto Station, 20 minutes walk. It may feel a bit far away, but it is a great place to stay for 2 days and 1 night and heal. There are as many as four private hot spring rooms, and if you go on weekdays, you can rent them out and use them. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, reasonably priced for a ryokan, and the staff was friendly.
