Paradise-The Whitehouse Cafe

We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Chateau, Manali. The best part was the amazing river view absolutely calming and beautiful. Their riversideThe whitehouse cafe is a lovely spot to relax, and the food was delicious throughout our stay. A big thank you to Rajkumar and Sukhvinde for the warm hospitality and care. Everything was so well-managed, and we truly felt at home. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Manali!

we visited the cafe/restaurant last week, drawn in by its beautiful location. However, the experience quickly turned unpleasant due to poor management and unprofessional service. As we entered, we were greeted by the strong smell of cow dung from the lawn area, which made sitting outside quite uncomfortable. When we requested indoor seating, we were bluntly denied, with the reason being that children are not allowed inside—a strange and unwelcoming policy, especially for a family-friendly setup. Since it was already 9:30 PM and we had limited options, we reluctantly decided to stay and dine outdoors. The surprises began early a standard Aquafina water bottle was priced at Rs.120, which we were told was to “maintain their standard.” Ironically, if they truly aimed for premium standards, they should have at least offered a better and premium quality water brand. We ordered pizza and pasta, which were thankfully decent and served hot. But the Chicken Malai Tikka: Completely undercooked, almost raw. We raised a complaint, and the waiter said he would replace it. In the meantime, we ordered the main course, which took 40 minutes to arrive and was a total letdown, Mutton- Undercooked and chewy, Chicken: Hardly any meat in the dish—mostly gravy and bones, Dal- Completely unseasoned, Rotis- Thick, doughy, and undercooked. When we asked to speak with the manager - Mr. Suresh, he showed no interest in listening and instead called in their so-called chef, who tried to justify the mutton by saying, “Pahari mutton thoda hard hota hai." We then asked him to ***** the flesh from the bone to prove his point—and unsurprisingly, he couldn’t. He had no answer for the raw rotis or the poorly cooked chicken either. The Malai tikka which was to be replaced was never replaced. It was only after an argument that they agreed not to charge us for certain dishes, but by then, the evening was already ruined. This place may look appealing from the outside, but the arrogant attitude of the manager, the substandard food, and the lack of basic hospitality made it a thoroughly disappointing experience. Highly avoidable, especially if you value your time, money, and mood.

The place was amazing with a beautiful vibe. Special mention for a really polite staff sukhwinder and pankaj were so polite and attended with utmost professionalism.

Really pathetic service. I vl never recomend amybody to visit here. Worst experience i ever had 1. Only money vth zero service 2. Called many times for cutlery but not delivered for 2 hrs after 4 calls nd physical demant too 3. Stinking wasroom 4. Although v r sitting in lawn area then also drained water without taking care that that our clothes and footwear r damped in it 5. Money minded 6. Towels not in rooms asked to give but not supplied for more 10hrs Guys bring your things. Dnt relly for supply Worst service

Waste of time, absolutely hated the stay, the most stressful stay, if you’re wanting a stress free trip do not choose this. Unwelcoming staff , nasty service and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH A DIME , just the view is what makes sense for me to tolerate the place. Would never recommend anyone.
