I had the pleasure of staying at ITC Hamsa with my mom from February 19th to 22nd, 2025, and without a doubt, this was one of the best vacations I’ve been on. The property is exquisitely maintained, striking the perfect balance between coziness and spaciousness. It’s small enough to feel intimate, yet expansive enough to offer ample space for exploration, complete with charming nooks and corners. The abundance of apple trees adds to its beauty, and I can only imagine how stunning it must look during apple season. On our second day, we were in for a heavy snowfall, and the landscape transformed into something straight out of a fairy tale! The pristine, snow-covered surroundings, ***** with the gentle sound of falling snow, made for a truly magical experience. We spent a wonderful day playing in the snow and exploring the property. The staff went above and beyond, providing us with snow boots, and we are truly grateful for this thoughtful gesture. The rooms were minimalist yet cozy and impeccably maintained, thanks to the diligent housekeeping team. A special mention goes to Shantanu and Aditya, who consistently ensured that our room was spotless and were always attentive to our requests, such as providing us with extra blankets. Given that it snowed throughout our stay, I am especially appreciative of the their dedication to their work, with eagerness and warm smiles on their faces. The restaurant at ITC Hamsa is also a standout. The breakfast buffet offered a generous variety, and the food was delicious—especially Siddu, which I eagerly looked forward to each morning. The staff was exceptionally well-trained, friendly, and provided excellent recommendations for all our meals. Special thanks to Naveen and the entire restaurant team, including the trainee staff (unfortunately, I didn’t catch all their names in my rush on the last day). We genuinely looked forward to our daily meals at the beautiful glass-paneled restaurant. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend it, and the front desk staff was incredibly accommodating, offering us the best possible rates when we made our request. Another highlight was the delightful little library in the lobby, which I found particularly impressive. From children’s books by Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton to works by Dickens, Hardy, and Dostoevsky, there truly is something for everyone. Having traveled extensively and stayed at some of the world’s finest hotels, I can honestly say that I’ve never encountered a library quite like this (at a hotel). I spent many leisurely hours reading indoors due to the snow! Kudos to the team for curating such a wonderful collection. Truly spoilt for choice! My only suggestion would be that they should amp up their first aid kits and keep a few pain relieving sprays at hand, especially in the winters, as people are more prone to accidental falls in the snow. Apart from this small issue, ITC Hamsa, Manali, is the perfect place to stay. It’s a picturesque property
