My wife and I have just completed our second stay at this fabulous resort - what a find and we were thrilled to return! This is in our view just how the Maldives should be, stripped back, a little rustic with all of the essentials perfectly in place. Rahaa like most of the Maldives enjoys a stunning location in the Indian Ocean, but where this resort differs and stands out is the manner in which the natural beauty and charm of the island has remained steadfastly in place; as a consequence the nature and wildlife habitats are as they have been for time immemorial. This does not have the glitz and glamour of other resorts and has remained true to its’ roots. The rooms are all air conditioned, spacious and delightful, the restaurant offerings are just perfect at this price point, again staying true with Maldivian cuisine together with themed offerings resulted in truly something for everybody and all absolutely delicious. The bar staff under the watchful eye of the ever helpful Islam are caring and attentive as it must be said are all of the team members who always stop whatever they are doing and meet you with heartfelt and genuine greetings which is a real pleasure. Special thanks to Islam for helping to organise my Anniversary surprise which was perfect! Ismael, the Rahaa General Manager was present throughout our stay and it is refreshing to hear his continuing future vision for the resort is to continue very much in the same vein and in doing so make The Maldives more accessible for both new and returning clients. During our stay my wife unfortunately required some prompt medical treatment and the service she received throughout was absolutely second to none - my heartfelt thanks to Ismael and the resort Doctor for your professionalism and kindness. Rahaa is a real gem, thank you so much for another fabulous experience!
