Wow where do we start !!!! Well from the moment we landed at Male we were greeted by a Rahaa Representative who was just lovely . We had a short domestic flight to reach our speed boat ride which then allowed us to step on to this absolutely stunning and perfect island… From stepping foot on the jetty we were welcomed by staff and greeted with a cocktail , then we were taken to the stunning reception area which is truly beautiful and it’s kinda inside & out . Charan was just perfectly helpful in every way he was our point of contact our whole stay and nothing was too much trouble & his smile is infectious. All staff at the Rahaa resort are simply wonderful from room staff to kitchen staff to garden & beach staff & to the management team also . Our gardener Mahendran was simply lovely and always smiling and helpful he’s a credit to Rahaa . The food was typically Muldivian and was lovely . Bar staff were lovely . Our room was beach front villa and simply perfect in every way it lead straight to the beach & sea … The whole holiday experience for us was perfect and for that Rahaa we thank you all as a team . The perfect holiday you could dream of is at the Rahaa … It was our wedding anniversary and joint birthday holiday and we would return in a heart beat and we will 100% . You have use of canoes , snorkelling , paddle boarding and more free & the guys Brando and his team are so helpful and lovely … We can not praise every single staff member enoughat Rahaa… This is an untainted island and the perfect dream desert island which makes your stay perfectly relaxing . We experienced sealife beyond your wildest dream of turtles , manteray , sharks the list goes on . Rahaa is just the perfect oasis in the middle of the Indian Ocean that is simply perfect in every way . Charan & Managment & Mahendran, Brando & everyone else at the resort thank you for making our dream holiday perfect . Suzanne & Craig

I've sadly just returned home from this beautiful resort . Flying from Heathrow direct, followed by a 40 minutes domestic flight, then a 40 minutes speedboat ride. Resort staff meet you at Male Airport and take you to the domestic flight terminal, they then meet you to escort you to the speedboat. With staff then waiting on the jetty with complimentary welcome drink. As this was my first time traveling alone, I found this really helpful. You are given a dedicated Host throughout your stay and I was lucky to get Ameen, whom checked in with me throughout my stay in person and through Watts app should I need anything. Thank you Ameen.🙂 The resort is made up of Ocean view villas and lagoon side villas, which are spacious, cleaned daily and the open air bathrooms with large free standing bath and in door and open air showers are stunning. It is easy to walk around the island along the edge of the sea watching reef shark swimming besides you. Even spotting rays some days and different fish. This is my 3rd visit to the Maldives and for me this is my favourite island so far. There is snorkeling off the beach and a free boat trip to the house reef which is a 5 minutes boat ride, always with members of the water sports team mostly Brando and Abo to accompany you and help you if required. These guys are great 😊 They offer a number of payable excursions which for me have been worth every penny, Turtle point - was simply amazing, turtles and most species of marine fish, Clown fish, powder blue tangs you name it! On the speedboat ride there we came across dolphins which swam around the boat. This trip ticked so many things off my bucket list. Then I went to Coral Reef- ok so, more turtles, Stingray, black tip reef shark and beautiful Coral. For me these trips have been the best unspoiled snorkeling I have ever seen. Having done so in many different countries. I've always wanted to try diving but been nervous. We'll I plucked up the courage and was not disappointed. Mohan the dive instructor, explained everything in great detail, I signed up for the discover scuba which was a great price. I had some training off the jetty one to one and I did panic a few times, but he calmed my down and gave me the confidence to do it. We then went out on a boat for the dive. Truly breathtaking, again he was so professional always checking if I and the other diver was ok the coral and fish we're beautiful. Another bucket list tick. Thank you Mohan for your patience 😊 There are free paddle boards and kayaks available along with other activities, some chargeable. The food for me was good and I had no complaints. Overall the island is a more natural island, unspoiled, not over developed and truly a slice of paradise. Would recommend this resort especially if you want to go diving or snorkeling in a natural environment. Until the next time....

So, just returned from a lovely stay at Rahaa, the island really is magical. There are however lots of silly things that let the resort down. The all inclusive is really limited, the kobar is not included and for the life of me I cannot see why this would be as the bar is situated in an ideal spot to watch the sunset, but no one’s ever there. Ice cream is not included, $10 a go is a rip off ! The drinks menu is limited, this didn’t really bother us but it would have been nice to try some of the other cocktails the bar had to offer. The mini bar is not included, don’t understand that one either… Finally and the one thing that put a downer on the holiday was that despite the resort information given when we arrived clearly stated AI ended when you leave the resort, it actually stops at 12pm and so when we went to get a final drink before leaving we were rudely told we had to pay. We disputed this and the barman went a asked the manager then came back and said no we had to pay. We raised this with reception and pointed out that their documentation clearly states AI til we leave l, we eventually got our drinks but this is the only AI resort we have ever been to where the AI ends at 12pm despite some departures not being til the early hours ! Oh, the other thing that was annoying, check out was at 12pm the cleaner turned up at 11.15 to take our cases and clean the room. We told him we weren’t ready and he then waited outside the door til we were ready to leave which made us feel we had to rush. We then discovered that the reason for rushing us out is so they can do an inventory of the room before you check out !! Be warned they will make you empty your case for a half used bottle of shower gel …….

We travelled as a couple, it’s a long way but absolutely worth it. Paradise is an understatement, beautiful blue ocean, sandy beaches and clear skies. We were a bit worried about food as reviews were mixed, but we should not have been concerned, food was amazing! I am very fussy and don’t like fish but never struggled. The a la cate menu is always available not just in the bar but also in the restaurant, fantastic burgers! Our main reason for visiting was the diving. We were not disappointed! Mamdhooh De Ravens was our instructor and he listened to our wishes and delivered on every dive! His knowledge of the dive sits was first class and his enthusiasm was infectious. We dived on five days and I wish we had time to do more. The Kobar, although not part on the all inclusive package, is a must. The cocktails at sunset were perfect! The rooms, we had an ocean view, are very spacious, cleaned every day to a very high standard. We had no complaints. All the staff went out of their way to help, but at no time were they over bearing. Some staff took part in the entertainment, and were excellent! Crab racing was a highlight! Overall a fantastic resort and definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I have just completed a stay at this fabulous resort - what a find! This is in our view just how the Maldives should be, *****ped back, a little rustic with all of the essentials perfectly in place. Rahaa like most of the Maldives enjoys a stunning location in the Indian Ocean, but where this resort differs and stands out is the manner in which the natural beauty and charm of the island has remained steadfastly in place; as a consequence the nature and wildlife habitats are as they have been for time immemorial. This does not have the glitz and glamour of other resorts and has remained true to its’ roots. The rooms are all air conditioned, spacious and delightful, the restaurant offerings are just perfect, again staying true with Maldivian cuisine together with themed evenings encompassing meals from the Mediterranean, India, China, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Indonesia - Truly something for everybody and all absolutely delicious. The bar staff under the watchful eye of the ever helpful Islam are caring and attentive as it must be said are all of the team members who always stop whatever they are doing and meet you with heartfelt and genuine greetings which is a real pleasure. The diving team whilst being comparatively young in age were all consummate professionals and a real credit to both Rahaa and PADI, I enjoyed some great times with them. The Rahaa CEO was on site together with the General Manager for our stay and it is refreshing to hear their future vision for the resort is to continue very much in the same vein and in doing so make The Maldives more accessible for both new and returning clients. A real gem, thank you so much for a fabulous experience!

Had an amazing time people and workers were lovely ! The rooms were super clean! Food was lovely especially the fish 🐟! They done a world food to cover some countries and nationalities which had a great variety! The rooms were spacious, clean with air com that worked really well kept the room cool and at a comfortable temperature. We had a villa facing the lagoon with breathtaking views and sunsets 🌅 There was an amazing outdoor bathroom which was really individual and out of the ordinary! The provided great fishing tours and even have the fish you caught cooked for you at the resort. They provide free snorkelling around the coral and the turtle one you normally pay for! We had a nice romantic dinner by the palm trees facing the sea 🌊 the workers were great but in particular Brandon he was a super host bubbly and interacting a lot with guests. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the island he was lovely and welcoming. The island itself was amazing! Great food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Workers/service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Location/beach ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Entertainment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% recommend and next time will be bringing more of my family members !! Definitely a place to visit! Once in a lifetime experience

A beautiful resort island that takes you back to the basics of sun, sea, and sand. If you want a holiday where you switch off completely this resort island is for you! It opened in 2019 but was then hit by Covid lockdown and has now started to recover. This resort is lovely and quiet The room interior was some of the nicest we’ve stayed in the Maldives - modern and kept extremely clean. Rooms have a partial outdoor bathroom and a lagoon or partial ocean view. Rooms with an ocean view are set back behind trees/plants. Rooms with a lagoon/lake view are set back slightly but without an obscured view. We enjoyed the lagoon view and quietness of these rooms. The staff did their best re service, but it is quite relaxed. Hints and tips: General: Take water shoes - there is broken coral and crushed shells on entry to the sea. Take high factor suncream (50*+) and plenty of it. It is $25 for a small tube from the resort otherwise. Take mosquito repellent if you are prone to being bitten - the island is fogged twice daily but it doesn’t get ride of all the little blighters. Water activities: The island is protected and surrounded by a huge lagoon that is shallow, interspersed with coral. There is no pool. The lagoon is safe to swim in with hardly any waves but there is an undercurrent so best to be a swimmer. There are masks, snorkels and fins that are free to use for up to 2 hours each day and a good selection. There are free snorkelling trips (a 5 mins boat ride away) at 0900 and 1400 hrs every day. There is a single kayak for use. There are two surfboards with paddles to use - these are not stand up paddle boards and the paddles are not long enough to use standing up. There are other boat trips available at cost. (Around $60pp upwards) There is a PADI dive school owned by the resort. Flights and luggage: If your return flight from Male is the morning you will have to leave Rahaa resort around 4.20am for the boat ride and internal flight. (Internal flights are limited to four per day). Your internal flight is to and from Kadhdhoo island (a local island and air base). The speedboat transfer is approx 30 mins. You can only take 20kg hold luggage onto the internal flight and 5kg hand luggage, (regardless of your international flight allowance). You cannot purchase an additional bag. You will be charged a surplus cost per kg. Any additional luggage may also not arrive on the same flight with you due to the plane needing to be weighted correctly. All inclusive. The AI package is ample for drinks and good food. If you are looking for a European or 4* type All Inclusive holiday then look elsewhere. What you get is a choice of 4 dishes each day plus rice. and potatoes, noodles or spaghetti and a single fresh chef station. There are vegetarian options but it’s limited. There is some fresh fruit, but limited. There is a choice of 5 cocktails on AI, others are available at cost. There are local spirits on AI, branded are available at cost
