"Alhamdulillah.ni Kali ke 2 stay raia... recommended
- bilik bersih
- pools for kids
- breakfast yg variety and sedap especially tea susu/ tarikh my favorite
As for me,Sy suggest hotel ni jika bercuti di terengganu"
"I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Grand Continental Kuala Terengganu. The cleanliness was good and the rooms were comfortable. The location is excellent, very convenient and close to many attractions. The service was generally good, though there is still some room for improvement. The amenities provided were also good and sufficient for a comfortable stay. Overall, it is a nice hotel for business travellers with a great location and reliable facilities."
"I recently stayed at Hotel Tanjong Vista in Kuala Terengganu and had a mixed experience. While the location was excellent—close to eateries, laundry services, seaview room and KTCC Mall—the overall stay left much to be desired.
Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of cigar smoke, which was quite unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room also needs improvement, as it didn’t meet the standards I expected.
As for the breakfast, it was very basic and not up to standard. There was limited variety and the quality could definitely be improved.
That said, the hotel’s strategic location is a major plus, especially for those looking to explore the city or run errands nearby."
"Front desk reception is very polite and helpful. Strategic location for business and shopping. Room clean and complete with amenities. Convenient with nearby bus terminal."
"I stayed here once with family. Previously in apartment with 3-4 rooms. Really spacious.
This time it is studio room so don't expect it to be glamorous or stylish. It is functional room. The only downside is lack of plug. Not even plug at the bedside table. But otherwise water pressure or aircond is good. Just the hot water does not really felt hot.
My room at the top most level 9. Previously has some problem with lift. It was slow. But not having those issue during this stay. Either because lack of guest or the lifts are upgraded.
Breakfast is good as always, the spread is not that much variety but enough to fulfill morning needs.
The ultimate plus is the location opposite pantai batu burok, walking distance to hospital sultanah zahirah, stadium, akuatik centre and shopping malls like KTCC and mayang."
"The host was incredibly warm and attentive. They added me on WeChat beforehand to explain all the details, and communication in Chinese was seamless. The room was clean, and the location was great. Right downstairs, across the street, you'll find restaurants and a convenience store. Excellent value for money."
"The room is clean and the bed is comfy.
I saw a lot of comment that the room is quite small thus we book Deluxe Queen room so got plenty of spaces. I love the way they decorated the room despite it’s spaces.
Most importantly is that it’s just beside Pasar Payang which is my main purpose of booking it there.
Only 1 downside is the air conditioning cannot be properly control and it’s quite hot. We already adjusted the temperature to 16 as minimum but it’s not that cold."

Great
AafaizaaRoom on level 3. Air conditioning was not working well, TV was barely working and water pressure was really bad (wasn't even hot enough).
At least the service is good, room is clean and bed is comfortable. Also location is unparalleled (except for the limited parking space - public parking available however).

Very Good
LLANCE_ONGCleanliness could be improved, old school style budget hotel with some modern twist! Provides carpark behind the hotel but need to pay just rm2.20 for a day of parking! Receptionist is super helpful and friendly
LLost TravellerI requested king/queen bed but they give 2 single bed. Room is okay. However the entrance of my room near to housekeeping items that not covered properly. It’s very uncomfortable. Hotel should improve by covered the area. Overall is ok
GGuest UserThe room is a little small but comfy. For me its really good as we only need to lay down for a bit. Overall the cleanliness and the hotel is very easy to locate. And the best of it all is the hotel is in close proximity with all the place of interest. Do consider this hotel if you want to stay in city centre and pay less money compared to other hotels or resorts nearby.
MMiaSurayaOk for 1 night stay.
Bedroom is small around 25meter. Toilet is ok and can be better in cleaning. Parking is behind the hotel. The drawbridge is visible from the window. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The price of this room is affordable too.
GGuest UserThe hotel is relatively new and has a street-side location. Our assigned room was accessed via an adjacent staircase, and unfortunately, the soundproofing was poor. The water pipe noise from the next-door shower was incredibly loud. Its saving grace is its very close proximity to Chinatown, with plenty of convenient dining options nearby.
GGuest UserRecommended..
Even though hotel is quite old.. but the hotel service is maintain 4 stars..
Room is comfortable. I’m very lucky because my room is faces to the sea view on 8th floor.
Food on breakfast need to more efficient, i came down on 8pm++.. certain food not topup and the people is increase to join the meals but the food is no enough.
I can rate 4 stars for overall.
Can repeat in the future.
AAnonymous UserOverall a great place to stay for short stay. Me and husband stayed here because he joined the Terengganu Marathon 2025. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights. The furniture is complete albeit a bit old. Toilet is ok and clean, hot water functioning well. Managed to check in early as room is vacant which is a plus star from us :). The only comment I had is lack of plugs (only one free plugs available in the room) the other 2 is used for tv and since it’s the only entertainment, we watch the tv so we only left with 1 plug (a bit of a downside since we both have to charge our phone one by one and also our watches too). Another thing is they only have 1 hair dryer in the hotel. So if you want to use, need to wait it free 😅 thats all from me!
GGuest UserThis is not my first time here.
And will repeat more.
I like the vibes there.
However during my stay recently, found that visitor park their car in front of the room and this is not practical here. Mayb because of the new management, no one there to advice the visitor..
Thanx langit marina
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is excellent. It offers great value for money and has direct beach access. While the room itself was a bit dated, having the beach right there made me totally overlook it! 😂 The pool was clean, and breakfast was just okay. It's truly perfect for a relaxing escape to clear your mind. 👍👍 Overall, I highly recommend it.
