If i go vacation in Kuala Terengganu again, i will repeat the same hotel again and again. Friendly staff, clean, nice interior design and easy to park with various shop nearby! And close to the town too!

Great hotel to stay. One of the best budget boutique hotel that I've ever stayed. Nicely decorated. All furniture good quality. Water pressure also good. No comment.

Nice and strategic hotel, but crowded parking because shope lot

Everything was okay except parking which cannot been reserved 

Even this like budget hotel but the facilities like 3star hotel, just only dont have a swimming pool. Very good service, cleanless and the envirement is so good, got so many shop and shopping mall, easy to us to get anything. Nice hotel

With no presence of 5 star hotels in Kuala Terengganu, I had to find the best alternative. I was lucky to find Valya Hotel, situated in an area called Gong Badak. If you are having a hard time finding the perfect hotel, I think your search should end with this hotel.    Look, I am someone who values good quality and top rated hotels for a comfortable stay. This hotel has many of the things I was looking for:    - Free WiFi  - Elevator   - Close to shops, eateries, convenience stores (e.g. Jakel, Mydin, Watsons, 7-11, pharmacy etc)  - Close to airport (less than 10 minutes)  - Basic bath amenities and in-room slippers provided (towels, toothbrush are available)  - Strong rain shower pressure, proper bidet     These factors would suffice to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience. The price point is extremely affordable. I booked a Superior Triple room with window. Although there is no ”view” from the window, you can still have some light shining through, for a less claustrophobic environment.     Other things that were missing, but acceptable at the price you are paying:  - No breakfast  - No in-room safe  - No dedicated parking space for hotel guests (more on this below)  - No view from window (as mentioned)    My main gripe will be parking, as mentioned by other guests who reviewed this property as well. As there are many shophouses, you should expect a chaotic and congested area full of vehicles during the day. Parking is chargeable at RM0.60 per hour, and you can pay for parking at the various stations around the parking lot, with some not functioning at all. It is a challenge to find space close to the hotel, and you will end up having to move your car closer to your hotel when the congestion clears up in the evening.    Another plus staying here will be a self service laundromat on the other side of the row of shophouses.    Overall, Valya Hotel is a perfect hotel for a comfortable stay in Terengganu. You can reach the city centre in mere minutes, and the airport is within close proximity.    Highly recommended!

Boutique hotel. Comfortable rooms and clean. Air-conditioned. Plus points iron in the bedroom instead of the lobby. Friendly and helpful staff Mimi.  Clean toilet. Minibar included. Provided basic soap dispenser , soap bar and toothbrush, mineral water and coffee, towels. Located in shoplot area, 2 storey building, next to watson.Pizzahut, KFC, Subway all within reach. Easy access to local food and a  lot of food stalls with no seating though but variety from laksa, sotong, tea, nasi kerabu. Also walking distance to 7-11, restaurants nearby, also near to  bank and pharmacy and if u left something behind dont worry boutique hotel is walking distance to Mydin.  Parking quite challenging during the day, but at night a bit easier.  Value for money. Hotel with lift and safety (firedoor, smoke detector)  Wish wifi was better and more variety for tv channels. Our July road trip holidays was very fun and enjoyable, we booked an accommodation at Valya hotel in Trengganu, the hotel location is one of the best because it was near to Mydin shopping mall and there are a lots of shops surround.  It was so easy for us to get our meals. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, the are very clean and the most important it was worth the money.
