Back here for the third time—definitely recommend!
The single bed is surprisingly big and super comfortable. The front desk staff are very friendly. Walkable distance to TRX and Pavilion. Strongly recommended!

It was one of the worst experiences to stay at Dorsett KL. There were big spider webs just above bed. Pillow quality was very poor. Food service is only till 9.30pm and you need to pay to get your food upfront, there is no option to get the food & charge it to your room.
Amenities are just formality, slippers provided were so thin & fragile. Hair dryer is of poor quality.
Except of the location of hotel, there is no reason to stay in this old and poorly maintained property.

This place was so outdated. Shower head was mouldy, water didn’t run hot and the fan in the bathroom did not work. On top of that, there is a spa on lvl 5 which is not operated by the hotel- mind you it shows spa in the hotel lift. Lifts also sounded like it was going to break down any day now. Do not go for a full body massage as they have add on services which was not mentioned prior. This has been the worst experience for such a big chain hotel. Hotel advised they will provide a refund for 2 nights and then went back on their word and only provided 1 night refund. I rarely leave bad reviews but this was a must this time.

Location of hotel is convenient to malls & food places however the hotel is rather old and the shower heads in the hotel are mouldy & old. Hotel should look into changing them & refurbish the rooms to renew the hotel room & toilet.

Great location in Bukit Bintang (5 min walk to Pavilion). Hotel service is excellent; staffs are nice and friendly. It says 5 stars but building and rooms are old, (more like 4* ) Breakfast is very good but you have to go early before 7:30am otherwise the place becomes super crowded. Check-in/check out are smooth & fast.
Overall I’m happy with the stay. Nothing to complain.

Excellent location, big spacious rooms with a good breakfast buffet spread.
However, the shower head (see photo) looks very used/ brown; and I was disappointed that I can’t leave my luggage outside the restaurant to have breakfast and was asked to go deposit at ground floor instead.

Excellent location, service. My room has been recently refurbished. See nearby buildings pic. Walking distance within 500m where I go for bf. Although the hotel cafe and room service menu is equally adequate.

Very clean and very spacious accommodation with a few minor issues, some of which could be easily fixed and some rather beyond their control. The kitchen is big and potentially great but for some reason poorly supplied. Just one saucepan supplied for the hobs?!? Exactly one of everything else per person (plate, cup fork etc) The main let down however was the view from the rooftop pool. I pretty much booked this place based on the photo of the pool and the amazing unobstructed views of the Petronus towers. However it must have been either a very old photo or one that was heavily photoshopped as there are now massive buildings obstructing the view. Please see the picture attached of what it actually looks like. The location was pretty good though but KL not really a walking kinda town given the traffic sitch.
