What a spectacular and magical 2 night stay! My husband, sister and I enjoyed the warmth and incredible hospitality of the Merlika family atop Kruje Castle. Rooms Emiliano is an exceptional assembly of small Guest Houses. The onsite restaurant offers excellent al fresco terrace dining with delicious locally sourced home made food. Wine and beer are available and the sunset views are gorgeous. The accommodations are unlike any other. Clean, cozy guest rooms feature spectacular mountain views as well as views over the small city of Kruje, known for its famous Bazaar. If given the opportunity to stay in Kruje, don't think twice. Book a room at Rooms Emiliano!

Rooms are clean and adequate, offering value for money. The food is very simple, there are a few restaurants next door to choose from (recommended) Friendly and welcoming staff/family. No sleep on account of the many barking dogs…..now we know why they sleep all day :) Beautiful views, feels like you are at the top of the mountain! Hairy road if driving or would be a slog if walking with a pack…

Once you mastered the drive up to the castle, you’re in for a wonderful experience. The staff was amazingly friendly, the rooms are excellent, but nothing beats the view from the castle and the sunset. This place is a must if you’re in town. Side note - great food

This is a great place to stay, full of character and in a fantastic location right at the top of the hill of the historic castle. It's family-run and they are friendly, attentive and very helpful. It's above the old bazaar, and has fantastic views all round. The outdoor tables are distributed around an attractive garden of vines and fruit trees, some with great views of the sunset. The restaurant serves traditional dishes, and it's all great value. There were often large family groups of locals for dinner when we were there.

Avevamo prenotato una delle casette ma ci hanno dato una camera nella struttura e non c'è stato verso di cambiare perché ci hanno detto che era tutto pieno e che la nostra camera era migliore (evidentemente avevano dato a qualcun altro la nostra casetta). Il giorno prima di arrivare ci avevano chiesto se volevamo cenare con dei piatti tipici freddi visto che saremmo arrivati dopo l'orario di chiusura della cucina e avevamo accettato. Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo chiesto dove avremmo cenato e per circa 20 minuti ci hanno detto che non era possibile cenare perché la cucina era chiusa. Dopo 20 minuti si è scoperto che la persona che ci aveva proposto la cena si era dimenticata di dirlo agli altri colleghi della struttura per cui non avevano preparato nulla. Da quel momento si sono scusati e sono diventati molto gentili, ci hanno preparato la cena e anche la mattina dopo sono stati gentili scusandosi nuovamente per il fraintendimento. Purtroppo il giudizio resta negativo perché non è accettabile arrivare e trovarsi in una stanza differente da quella prenotata e dover litigare per avere qualcosa che ci avevano proposto loro il giorno prima. A parte questi problemi il posto è molto bello e se si impegnassero a gestirlo con un po' più di attenzione sarebbe eccezionale.

Nicht gerade frisch renoviert, aber liebevoll und zweckmässig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht und höflich, eher „over the top“. Saubere Zimmer, die Bausubstanz bröckelt ein wenig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die unglaubliche Aussicht - man sieht bis zum Meer!

Difficile da raggiungere spt col buio, di fianco alla torre del castello. Camere semplici ma pulite e dotate del necessario per trascorrere la notte, bagno con il bidet. Personale gentilissimo. Cena e colazione in posizione spettacolare sulle mura del castello. Colazione e cena tradizionali ottime ed abbondanti.
