The location is gorgeous. Had impala walking past our chalet in the morning. Food at the restaurant is overpriced and not very good. The chalet was clean and well maintained but not of a 5 star standard. A good place for walks just generally relaxing.

Amazing experience. Staff was really friendly and helpful and made my stay even better.

What a beautiful 1 night getaway celebrating my husband’s birthday. After making the booking a very friendly lady called & asked if we were celebrating anything special & for R600 i purchased what is referred to as their ‘Romantic Turndown’.. there were rose petals, tea-light candles, champagne & a bunch of flowers waiting for us when we got to the room. Gorgeous! My only suggestion for this would be to tailor a different turndown option if the celebration is for a male- something else instead of flowers & perhaps some cold beers instead of champagne-just an idea. Unfortunately we did not have supper because we had quite a late lunch: the cocktails & food at the bistro is amazing, pro tip: if you’re into the bacon & Brie combo, there’s a pizza on their menu that will hit the spot! Shout out to Josephine for your great service at the Bistro. We decided to try their hiking trail on the Saturday morning & we were not disappointed, we were lucky enough to see some wildebeest & buck during our hike. The one suggestion that I have here is to have more markers. The breakfast is the usual layout for a buffet style breakfast, the food is nice & fresh but the view you get to enjoy while eating makes it worthwhile.

The accommodation, breakfast and spa was amazing. Everyone let us feel very welcome and special. The fire place made the room nice and warm. The view of the Air Balloons on Sunday morning was amazing.

Great stay! Balloon ride we planned separately but it was fun and breakfast was amazing with it. The accommodation is great. The spa wasn't the best in our opinion. We did four services and 3 of the 4 were just ok nothing great and it was a bit expensive for what we got.

The hotel is definitely no longer a 5 star. The room was dated. Curtains were torn. Couch was torn. Carpets were filthy and old. TV sound and picture was terrible. Took over an hour to get a drinks menu. We got dessert (ice cold waffle) served on what looked like paper plates. Just not what I was expecting from a 5-star establishment. Probably my worst experience at a hotel.

Kloofzicht just does not disappoint. From the location and setting to the room, food and beverage and Spa experience, it was relaxing, enjoyable and superb quality. The staff is a joy to engage with and assist with any and every request. Definitely worth a visit and would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved everything from arrival at reception, to the food in all restaurants and the spa treatments, we are delighted and will definitely call again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Went there to celebrate our birthdays plus anniversary. Staff is excellent,place beautiful, breathtaking. Good food. We'll definitely be back again.
