O have been going to Forum Homini for many years celebrating anniversaries and special occasions with my hubby. I decided to book the hotel for my Exco Getaway the past few nights and the experience was first class. The team at the hotel were so attentive to our needs and thought of every fine detail to ensure we were spoilt and well looked after. The conference room was perfectly set up, all my guests special dietary requirements catered for at every meal and no request was an effort! From the food to the service to the facilities- it was all perfect! We have booked many venues in the area for this event over the years and it’s the first time my colleagues have commented that we should go back again next year! Thank you to the Forum Homini team for making our stay memorable and so easy 🙏🏼

We had a wonderful stay! The room was amazing, the dinner was perfect and what a surprise to return to the room with the heater on ,warmed towels and a lovely warm water bottle in the bed.

10/10 Luxury inter February 2025 The Roots restaurant truly 5 star luxury experience, from arrival you are greeted by the artistic rocks and tranquility. The restaurant is seculaded with all tables offering utmost intimacy with sufficient spacing and amazing views. The stuff “professional” and passionate with hospitality. Our 5 cause meal was out of this world, the presentation and artworks of the dishes were nothing short of perfect. Special thanks to the Eva, Micheal and Thinus for making our celebration extra special.

This booking was a real surprise, to think that we have something like this in the heart of Gauteng. Just an hour away from Pretoria East...Forum Homini is nestled on a little peace of heaven. My husband and I celebrated 24 years of marriage and the hosts went out of their way to make it special. Every picture is as it is on the website...the place is well maintained and immaculate...from the outdoor shower, to the jacuzzi an spa bath. The biltong and cheese platter is a must...the variety was delicious. The chef, Micheal Nhlapo is one of the best I have tasted in South Africa. If you are a foodie, please make sure you book the 6 course meal with wine pairing...it is phenomenal. We were in a food coma. The breakfast was equally amazing...the views,,,A special thanks to our knowledgeable waiter Michael ...and to Lawrence for his hospitality. Well worth it,,,,a superb experience

I travelled alone and was made to feel extremely welcome. The security is excellent, the location is beautiful. I saw wildlife every day. The ‘caves’ are luxurious and have every amenity you could ever need. ‘Roots’ restaurant was wonderful from the 5 course evening meal, the 4 course breakfast and the lunches. The produce was all fresh and beautifully prepared and served. The wine cellar is stocked with a vast selection of wine at reasonable prices. Their cocktails are delicious. I look forward to returning early next year.

Unique room, beautiful property. The multi-course breakfasts and dinners were exceptional and the staff offered 6-star service upon arrival, during the stay and when we left. We highly recommend for anyone staying in the Credle of Humankind area!

My time spent here was absolutely amazing and to anyone reading this, you won’t be disappointed. From the complimentary bubbles on arrival in your room, welcome tour, spacious rooms spent great detailing, to the friendliest staff and even better food, this place really ticked all the boxes. My partner and I left feeling refreshed and revitalised. Thank you to everyone at Forum Homini and we’ll see you soon :)

We made the booking through Lekkeslaap for 1 night stay on a Sunday. We were not aware that Forum Homini don't offer the 5-course dinner on Sunday's, but lunch is offered instead. We received a phone call from the venue informing us but at this stage it was already after 12h00 on the Sunday. On arrival our host, Morne served us complimentary cocktails and offered to serve us the 5-course dinner anyway to make up for the inconvenience. He also upgraded our room to the Presidential suite at no extra charge and gave us the option to be served dinner in our suite. I can seriously recommend this room (although priced quite high). We were no longer upset and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back and will seriously consider booking the Presidential suite again. Thanks for going the extra mile to make us feel welcome Morne and team! Well done!
